and also i am more comfy with my pole grip than any other grip in the game
im a mithra character, so i like any piece of gear that will help boost up my WS damage, especially if i am fighting a higher tier mob that i wont be meleeing as much or all that stuff i see the pros of the sword strap and all the others but pole grip is there to stay the ONLY other option i use is soboro + platinum grip which i use for sam/dnc ;] Pandemonium.Vincentius said: 100.1 is perfectly safe. Who the *** said sushi? I only carry sushi with me for NIN or THF. My SAM only eats Yellow Curry Buns, Red Curry when I like dying, and Meat Mithkabobs for bird camps. Rindo sucks compared to hagun :\ I know you think you're 100% correct because of your "calculator" However, seriously I have produced different results, which is why I stick with what I stick with. I still out DPS 90% of non relic DDs in merit parties. So whether you think you are right are not really doesn't matter, because your talking about fractions so like sub drg.. get more haste and you dont need as much accu thanks to drg job trait..

(Salvage, tanking various fights, etc etc.) I'll say this Vin, your polearm tp/ws set is pretty hax and will own some birdies more than hagun..

The only issue there is what are you fighting, and what WS are you using? Let's say that under optimal conditions, you're using Gekko on a T bunny. Gekko itself, like Yukikaze and Kasha as well, has an immense attack boost for the WS. Cerberus Mantle +1's added attack will likely do nothing, due to your pDIF being capped long before adding any back piece, making Smilodon Mantle +1 ever so slightly better. However, if you're using Gekko on something harder like Adamantoise, which has an INSANE defense bonus, Cerberus Mantle +1 will provide a greater benefit due to it being practically impossible to cap your pDIF. Basically, if you're fighting something easier, Smilo+1. If you have a feeling your pDIF won't be capped (HNM), use Cerb+1/Forager. Fairy.Brenda said: Your coming to Fairy no? For the most part I don't really fight T bunnies, which is why I use things like foragers mantle and hauby +1
So this long drawn out argument of stupidity wont change my gear sets at all Sure it will.
Don't use hauby+1 on WS and use osode. My sam is built for HNM/Jailers/Etc.
If I merit,its generally on birds, and I use polearm. Which if you use osode i will laugh at you I've never had issues using osode to WS on HNM/Jailers/Gods etc.
Like its been stated several times, Y/G/K gets a huge acc bonus which pretty much caps it at 95%. Unless you are talking attack then I dunno but I would think 4 STR would do more then 12 attack.
