The best RPG's imo, due to story would have to be Lunar: Silver Star Story and Lunar: Eternal Blue.

The Metal Gear Solid skit Mega 64 did was uber embarrassing. I think the guy gave up and took off after their attempts failed. Was pretty funny to see a guy lurk through a grocery store dressed as Solid Snake though lol.

I did it my first try...just...almost quit because it was so damn annoying listening to Vaan.
I actually liked FF12. Didn't care for Vaan being in the game but it was nice to see a new and functional battle system, open world and a war based storyline and plot instead of injected romance that leaves a funny taste in your mouth.

It was alright. Could've done without Vaan and Penelo. Balthier though, was awesome.
Besides any of the FF games which take the #1 spot in my book, I give you.. Xenosaga :D
This is the last in the series at this time, Episode III. Great freaking games imo. If someone already mentioned it I apologize, my PC is being a butt and not letting me view the first few pages of this thread D:

lol I agree the cutscenes were super long. but I did enjoy xenosaga though. :P
I been playing this recently new game called X-Blades, chick you play fights in a G-string :P but its interesting to play though.

Any platform, old as hell or brand new, which is your number one super best favorite? I specify that because every time this question comes up I end up listing 4 or 5 great games and never end up making a decision. lol
Sadly I think everything that would be on a list for me is on SNES and PS1 for whatever reason, with Phantasy Star 4 being the Genesis exception. lol
I would say my #1 is a little strategy RPG called Final Fantasy Tactics. Perhaps you've heard of it? Yes this is also an excuse to meet other FFT nerds. Huzzah!
