No it was a Manual, but only on my main, not on my mule, what happened? :-(
This is from the RoE: "Growth = Unlocking Alter Ego Points". Most likely.

Most recent content in the game is not puggable.

Limbus is puggable, and also grindy and boring af.

Hardly anyone does pugs for anything other than Limbus or segs.

If you mean can you buy stuff from mercs, no idea.

Most, not all. Not sure what's confusing about "most" XD

And Limbus is limbus, not exactly "top end" and with selectable difficulty.

phoenix had one of the healthier communities for pug stuff last time I was there, but has been a while. pick up pearls from ls concierge as often as you can, definitely don't be afraid to yell for help (I guarantee you'll get at least one response for most things even if it takes a while).

other than that, just try to understand the basics of the content you need help with. basic common sense stuff.

I remember reading a bug fix about hoxne ampulla not consuming gil under certain conditions although didn't specify the conditions.
I also remember reading that Hoxne would consume less gil if your total gil is below a certain value, did they fix that too? What was the value again?

*edit*
So the threshold where it starts to consum less than 1k gil/hit is 1k gil, however at that point the proc rate drops off and it seems to be in correlation to the amount of gil being consumed. The gil loss at that point seems to be caped at around 10% of what's left.

I though I had a good idea. Was planning to send gil in those orange gift bags in december event from a mule to main filled with the exact gil amount where you'd get the discount deduction.

Since the proc rate also drops off it's just a brain fart :/

NGL, that double attack proc rate and the TP flow that comes with it is pretty fun but the gil cost is just not feasible for the average joe.

They should consider to tie gil consumed to the amount of gil in circulation on that server instead of the person using the ampulla.
Bet that would fix any congestion problems real quick, too.

Does the JA haste on Last Resort work on 1-handed weapons or hand-to-hand? I know the Desperate Blows explicitly mentions 2-handed weapons but unsure of Last Resort.

I want a couple drops from the Tree Boss Delve, what's the fastest way to do the runs (I got BLU and WAR and a 2box RDM)? I know nothing about Delve, haven't done it in like 10 years; can I just drag everything to the Tree Boss and AOE everything down or how should I approach it? Will he be dead before I need a Holy Water for doom?

Things like that, any guidance would be appreciated.

blind the eye to kill with melee, nuke 1 fire spell then high tier water on tree while killing with melee. rest are inconsequential. boss will almost never use timber unless your dps is extremely low.

Advice above is good, but also in case you forgot: there are walls in the way, so you can't go straight to the final boss.

You kill 3 NMs, a door opens to another 2 NMs, then the final door opens and you can take on the final boss.

His DT is removed for a certain duration dependent on how much HP he recovers from the water spell. If he's at 99%, he won't recover much HP and the DT removal won't last very long. At least that's always been my understanding of it, though BG seems to have a completely different description of Laevvid's mechanics.
Personally I've always done: AoE nuke to get rid of fodder + deal damage to Laevvid > nuke NM with Water.

yeah that is more efficient. I don't think fire is required at all, was just a rushed explanation of the mechanic. Any initial magic damage > water spam > WS after each 2hr animation.

A little while ago I got a Null Masque from AMAN, chucked it into a bag and moved on. Doing some spring cleaning and I'm not about to throw it out but assuming you don't need it for engaged -DT is there anything in particular it's good for aside from idle sets? I guess the MND or VIT could be helpful for certain WS or Curing but otherwise I'm not sure if it deserves a spot in storage or in a wardrobe lol.

all jobs DT regen refresh regain for idle that comes with high def/HP/eva/meva/MDB???????????????

I know you said "is there anything in particular it's good for aside from idle sets", but Null Masque is literally THE piece to idle in for all 22 jobs for 99% of situations.

I suppose, I tend to feel like the value of minor passive regen/refresh is more of a holdover from a different era of the game rather than actually all that relevant. It's an appreciable defensive upgrade from Gleti's Mask, gives some regain to other jobs and is situationally useful when turning on a passive refresh set but, for instance, on paladin and bard I think I still favor empy +2 for shield skill/set bonus and meva/mdb respectively.

I guess I was mostly curious if I was overlooking any useful spots for it other than idle as that use case is fairly clear. I think it's a moderate upgrade to my bard's cure set at least.

It's one of the highest defense/vitality pieces that every job can wear. To name one, I use it in my PDT sets with Shadow mantle on a lot of jobs. It has absurdly high defensive stats to pair with the passive buffs. It has huge haste value, giving it a lot of use across a bunch of sets that might not be haste capped. It also alleviates having to use gazu bracelets and waist slot (less important now with Alabaster Earring in the mix) for haste on some jobs in certain sets (mdb/meva where waist/ear is tied up elsewhere). The huge chunk of -DT allows you to literally put it in any set where you don't have a specific stat you want to prioritize (I.e. sird, recast etc). You can put them in transition sets to maintain high HP during casting as a tank to not needlessly lose HP. I can't even count how many sets I use it in because it's such a great piece. All jobs to boot. Same deal with Adamantine Armor.

I can't tell you how many times people have asked "what set do you use that for?" when referencing Adamantine/Null. It's unbelievable. You have gotta be completely blind or lazy to not see any sets beyond idle for that mask...

I think dude just wants to toss it and was looking for validation. I could be wrong on that though.

Either way, even if its reduced to an idle piece, its still a *** amazing idle piece.

Not at all, I was just wondering if there were any particularly good use cases for it's unique distribution of stats (primarily the exceedingly high MND/VIT) that I was overlooking. It's quite clear that it has well-rounded defensive utility.

IMO the fact that it's so widely balanced defensively means you can use it across a vast number of sets across your jobs. Nothing specific stands out because there's so many defensive variations you can create. Just depends on how you optimize.

An instance where I could use this is something like a White Wind or Magic Fruit set over Telchine cap, after capping cure potency. The extra HP, Defense, VIT, and-DT is such a nice addition to a set you're probably a little squishy in, and the HP pulls double duty for White Wind potency anyways. That's just an example, there's so many instances where you would want more tankiness in a transition set vs a straight modifier. You lose a little potency power for a ton of defensive sturdiness.
