People buy Japanese games because they have a very distinct style and culture that people have learned to appreciate, when you buy a game you think is Japanese and it ends up not being so it's false advertising.
Silent Hill is a very well know Japanese series and potential customers would just take for granted that any new game would be made there, and Silent Hill F goes out of its way to bathe in Japanese culture to an overwhelming degree to lean into that belief. When it's not made in Japan at all.
Silent Hill F was 100% made by a development team from Hong Kong, and most of its developers are from China. It's little different than Wukong, and I liked Wukong but I liked it because it was honest about what it was and wasn't a Japanese skinsuit.
Nobody Japanese even worked on it Silent Hill F. These games that were not made in Japan have distinct messaging in them that are not what you expect from Japanese developers, that are influenced from where they came from (Not Japan)
Silent Hill F is crap, it's not a Silent Hill game at all other than some mist. The messaging in it is also obnoxious.
The reason Konami did it, is cause they were cheaper and they are cheaper because Japan has stronger labor laws. So if you support what they are doing in fooling western and Japanese audiences with chinese slop, you hate Japanese workers.
Why do you hate Japanese workers Afania?
