She makes money. Doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks about her music. She has a job that we all wish we could have for a few million dollars. Who wouldn't want to work as little as possible to make that kind of money.. ***sign me up. I wouldn't care if you think I sucked if I made that kind of money.
I don't know. I owe Lady Gaga a lot. Because of Poker Face, one of my favorite animes as a kid was also turned into one of my all-time favorite parodies.
Not a fan of Gaga myself, but more power to her for making her own music. The point is, in this day of pop idols and X-factor a songwriter (who has written for some of todays most popular stars) is a breath of fresh air.
Now lets talk "Glee"
They must have legalised rape as they are doing it to great songs/artists on a regular basis.
If I am ever listening to Proud Mary, or Stand by Me, or numerous others and someone says:
I don't listen to Lady GaGa much, but several of her songs are enjoyable (Paparazi, and that other song she plays on the piano Speechless), rather than just 1 decent song per album, seeing an artist put effort into the product is refreshing. At least, for a pop artist, that's something... Last time I can remember THAT happening from a North American pop artist, I think it was No Doubt or something, anyway... was a while ago.
Frankly I think Cartman has more talent than Lady Gaga here.
rofl!! I've never seen that before.
...I don't think she's too bad. Her song are boppity-boppity. I was forced into them when my daughter would play each 20 times a day as loud as humanly possible.
I make enough money to buy everything I need and a lot of things I want. The *** I care how much money lady gaga makes, we can all see how much good it does to most celebrities right?
[insert]Cliche rock video/performance[/insert]
welcome to reality.lady gaga aint got ***on any music style.
Silverstein might be what you're into, that's cool. Just don't kid yourself that they're something special. It's the same cliched rock style we've been hearing for about a decade.
I've noticed that heavy metal fans are more passionate about the supposed talent those bands have. So much so that they laugh at anyone who doesn't like that music and call them comformist, sell-outs, sheep, etc.
Yeah ok they can play their own instruments and scream but who says that requires more skill than a Lady Gaga or a Britney Spears? I just see it as being different skill sets, and I know which group gets paid better.
I personally like a broad selection of music and that does include some of Lady Gaga's songs as well as more obscure bands.
If I was talented enough to be in a famous band, I'd choose money everytime over what some hardcore fans claim is "musical integrity" or whatever. Those fans opinions wouldnt put food on my table. And being a musician is just the same as someone going to a 9-5 job. Making money isnt being a sell out lol.
"If there's a formula to selling out, I think every band in the world would be doing it", he said. "The fact that you write good songs and you sell too many of them, if everybody in the world knew how to do that they'd do it. It's not something we chose to do."
"The fact was we got to a point that we were so big that tons of people were showing up at punk-rock clubs, and some clubs were even getting shut down because too many were showing up. We had to make a decision: either break up or remove ourselves from that element. And I'll be damned if I was going to flip *** burgers. I do what I do best. Selling out is compromising your musical intention and I don't even know how to do that."
I'm sorry, but I don't see her loosing popularity anytime soon. Once you appeal to the gay community, you're IN for life. I.E. Madonna, Britney, Christina, etc. etc. etc.
Let me guess you like heavy metal? How was my post a rant?
You presume too much. I like Dragonforce, LeetStreetBoys, Green Day, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Offspring, Spice Girls, J-Pop etc etc. Pretty much anything, really.
As for your second question: I fail to see how it wasn't a rant. Perhaps I just use the word more freely than others. If you'd prefer, however, I could just quote it as "Stuff" or "Junk" if you'd prefer. Then of course, you'd likely presume that I was "Ignoring your post" or, as you have already, a "MetalHead."
Since you Ninja'd:

Your wiki quote basically is agreeing with what I said lol
Which makes it even funnier that you'd presume so much, no?

Lmfao @ MyToy posting right after this...
Oh man, the timing was fantastic.
