Well, you could take a chicken nugget, put it in a biscuit, then dip it all in mashed potatoes before dipping it in the barbecue sauce.

But yeah, mashed potatoes are awesome. Lots of pepper and dip a roll or a piece of bread in there, and it is soooooo good.

You know, I just saw (like 10 minutes ago) on the history channel that at the first thanksgiving they didn't have mashed potatoes and all the normal stuff we have now.. they had boiled swan, dried shell fish and eels. >.>

Ok, ok, so I can't just re-write history. But those poor pilgrims, every hardship ever is acceptable as long as they had mashed potatoes.

Well, in our defense we eat like this year round. Thanksgiving just gives us an excuse.
