Mostly because Swedish Christmas food is nasty compared to your Thanksgiving food lol, I only eat like... ham and prinskorv (a type of sausage)
Don't forget the Surströmming! Also, you guys celebrate Thanksgiving?
pretty sure no one outside america celebrates it? unless you're american and moved out of the country....in which case you obviously want to gtfo that place so why keep ties to it?
We only really eat a lot at Christmas and maybe New Years but we don't eat as much as you guys do on Thanksgiving >.>
Christmas is hams (and Matzo Ball Soup in my family), New Year's is for drinks and kissing people, and Thanksgiving is the face-stuffing holiday of cold weather. The Fourth of July is the face-stuffing holiday of hot weather, except for then we get potato salad instead of mashed potatoes. It all works out!
OKAY So. I went across campus with a friend to check on my car in the parking garage.
We tried jump starting it.
Had all the cables in the right place, followed proper steps, yada yada.
So after about 2~3min of letting his car run juicing up my battery, I try turning on my car, I get lights and stuff but the engine doesn't start. I just get clicking.
Now i think its a dead battery. Anyone a car person that could help?

:-( Sorry Volk, I don't know anything about anything and especially not about cars. ;; I hope you get it figured out.
Volk, I had a problem similar to that. I'm not saying this is the problem with yours, as it's probably just a dead battery. However, there is a slight chance it could be your computer like it was in mine. Lots of clicking, and after holding the key in the ignition for like 3 minutes, the car slowly began to catch. But then it would jerk forward in bursts, and the headlights started flickering for no reason. Again, I don't think that's your problem, so definitely get your battery checked, first.
The stuff on top of it is called griljering, I have no idea what you call it in English. It's made with egg, bread crumbs, mustard and potato flour(?). Then you stick it in the oven for a while.

What i'll end up doing is, i'll take my battery out tomorrow and go to autozone or something to have them charge it. hopefully that'll fix the problem. If it isn't that then i'll have bigger problems to worry about.

It could also be either your starter or possibly the spark plugs. So even if the battery comes back as perfect, you still have less expensive options. Spark plugs are relatively cheap, and if you have easy access to your plugs, it's a relatively easy fix. If it's the starter... a little more expensive. But if it's not those three options... yeah, it could get bad. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
