My wife: (out of no where) sex is just weird
Me: What? Why?
2 people get naked and wiggle on each other, it's just weird
<I half *** face palm>
<she starts laughing hysterically>
And now she's humping my computer chair to illustrate how it's weird and what dudes do..
Leon! You should start a Theatrhythm thread. See what party setups people like to use, what dark notes people have unlocked and other easter eggs and stuff :x
That would just be disastrous.. 2 mins in (maybe even less) she'd start laughing like an idiot and being unable to breathe and start screaming 'wiggling'..
So many new games to play. While I was out last night I left my computer downloading Suikoden II, Castlevania: SotN, FFT, and Legend of Dragoon. Now what to play, more Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones or start one of my new ones.

Complete the game your on! Please don't leave good games half finished, makes Sagi sadface :(

I always finish my games, I just play multiple ones together. Like one day I'll play this, next day that.

I do the same sorta.. It's my intention to finish them all..
Right now I have a bunch of 3/4 finished games and they're not even installed anymore.. They're save files from the last time I reformatted and the time before that.
The only exception is Amnesia.. I got to the water level and stopped and I had no illusions when I stopped.. I never intended to go past that point. I just said '*** this' and quit.

If you have never played FFT before, call in to work for two days and stock up on comfort food. You're in for a treat, I really wish I could re-experience playing that game for the first time.

Oh I won't uninstall a game untill I beat it at least once. For most PC games I play I won't uninstall it till I get 100% completion.
Amnesia was fun man. It may have scared the hell out of me quite a few times, but I wouldn't have got it if I didn't want to be scared.

I'm thinking about getting FFT: Advance instead. I like the turbo feature on visual boy advance A LOT. Started a game on the SNES version and the text ticks by soooo slow. I'm like waiting on more to appear and reading it a letter at a time. Not to mention the battle animations take forever and I can speed through the enemies turn.
I got it because it seemed fun, it was different.. I can handle a bit of scary in a game, but Amnesia was way too intense.. That wasn't a game, it was an experience.
And yeah I wasn't saying I just uninstalled them.. I just jump from game to game and never end up finishing the last because eventually I had to reformat and just didn't reinstall them, because I had another game I was playing..
Jumping from one game to another just doesn't work for me. I end up not jumping back.
Leon, you where right, the higher the number of the Dark Note, the difficulty increases, but it is not the difficulty of the sequence, rather, the HP~Atk of the monsters seems to be what makes it difficult, as a missed note hurts you a lot.

Look at other emulators then if you cant find the turbo on a ps emulator.
the advance series just doesnt live up to the original at all.
My laptop has some sort of virus I can't seem to get rid of that likes to redirect me when I click search results on google :(
You got that browser hijacking thing going, it sounds like. :/ You should try that HijackThis application from Trendmicro...it works really well (so long as you are careful what you do.) Some processes imbed themselves at Windows start-up, so they cannot be detected by virus scanners. :/

About 3 hours into the game, haven't gotten a scare yet...a few "monster" noises, door creaks, water dripping, etc. Nothing OMFGWTFRUNAWAYFAST yet.

It takes the right mindset to get the most out of Amnesia.
One needs to take in the atmosphere and the gravity of the situation within your playable protagonist. Understand that there is as much mystery to reveal within the walls you walk, as there is within your own mind.
A cliche modern day FPS gamer, that expects to have their hand held and have weapons on the fly will be sorely disappointed, as this is not a game of competition or scores, but rather of wits and iron will.
Suggestions:
Play at night.
Play with headphones on.
Play alone.

I don't like horror games so playing Dead Space alone in a dark room was a mistake >.> I might try Amnesia but I'm pretty sure I'll pause every 15 mins to do something else lol
Eh, it is a horror game, but not in the aspect most consider to be horror. The genre has a stigma of being associated with simple factors of darkness, startling, and blood/gore. I love the fact that an indie developer took the genre and gave it a fine tuning, show that horror can more intricate and involved than the pervasive chop movies and games where something awful jumps out of nowhere and rips your head off.
It looks like the kind of horror experience that get's inside your head and warps your perception of what is going on around you, the most scary kind imo.

Good for you then, you're not easily unnverved..
If you got 3 hours into it (that doesn't include the time spent cowering like a *** in the corner) then you might as well stop now unless you're only playing it for the story.. If you aren't afraid yet, you're not likely to be.

You probably will end up pausing every or breaking every 15 minutes to do something else, you'll also spend a full minute cowering in a corner just watching, heart pounding every time you hear a noise..
Amnesia does a REALLY good job of building an atmosphere, and as long as you let yourself be immersed in it, it gets pretty damn intense after awhile.. Every time I stopped playing, I came away feeling tired just because of the constant freak outs.. Every single noise put me on edge and I'd go running to a dark corner to cower like a *** and watch.. It got worse once I started seeing figures walking around.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
