Prime 1 is an absolute gem. Prime 2 I didn't think was as good, but it's still really good. I'm going to start and finish Prime 3 this weekend before I jump into 4.

If you don't already have a Switch 2 then it is absolutely not worth buying right now.

Yesterday I received an invite for my online course conclusion celebration.

The entire course was pretty long, 4 years, but indeed, aside the exams, it was entirely online: I got some material, got some short videos, had to deliver a couple of works, exercises and eventually exams.

But I never got to meet any of my supposed teachers. Nor any of my supposed colleagues.

And in the invitation, it was written: call your family to celebrate this impressive achievement. The speaches will be deliver3d online, and here is the Youtube link for it.

I couldnt help but feel awkward. Just imagine "calling my family" to watch youtube. As an excuse of my new graduation.

It was actually my second university. My first one was a real and conventional one, with major party and hundreds of students gathered.

Maybe signs of the times. I dont think this university was "bad" just because it was online.

I just feel cheap the entire concept of being online for this.

Also there is this philosophicsl question: by learning everything from static media, maybe this is just an illusion of an university. I was always alone in this trip thus what means it has celebrating.like a real graduation?

Big news today is Netflix is buying Warner Bros and HBO Max. I'm honestly glad, there are way too many paid streaming services. Netflix has always been king, and this should help everyone.

Indeed the world is a dangerous place.

Two things that are bothering me a lot in terms of internet.

1. Somehow I can login on my Outlook web via Safari. Im not sure what is it, but it is not accepting login via password. It demands other authentication methods or other device.

Microsoft is constantly asking my biometrics. *** dont want to leave any data behind.

2. AI support for searches breaking, and breaking the entire search.

If you cant process AI, you dont need to make impossible to “old school” search

In Fusion, Adam was responsible for her weapon upgrades. I think it was meant to be more like firmware than hardware, but idk. Bad writing. I guess you could argue that Adam was a software upload of her commander's personality, so it's kinda iffy.

Don't see that it matters; she's a bounty hunter, not an engineer.

There is one thing that will cure most of this. Linux.

I didnt play fusion (I didnt have a GBA, never emulated it either), but do you list the wrong game? I scanned through a quick playthrough of fusion and it looks like Samus gets her weapons from killing bosses. Atleast the Wave beam and Plasma beam are added on boss kill. But it also says "recovered", so maybe theres something I missed.

I liked fusion quite a bit, but I preferred the 2d platformers anyway. Controls were very similar to Super Metroid, though it had less sequence breaks available.

So again, without knowing the game or story, based on what you've said, Adam has dumped the upgrade data and Samus installs it herself. I'm presuming theres an actual reason for the data to be dumped at certain areas that makes sense. So I didnt any anything factually incorrect, Samus still installs her own upgrades in her suit/weapon.


I know Other M had its own unlock mechanic ("Daddy Adam says you can use your locked away toys now"), but I'm sure we both agree that game was also an abomination from a story standpoint.
