Problem with an AI label is that AI is already and will be used for everything, even if not for direct 3D models or images, even just LLM for brainstorming, making lists of potential names, script, etc. so yeah, it is pointless as one label.
Different labels for "AI was used to write the script" "AI was used to make 2D images" and "AI was used to make models" would be more suitable.

And again, people should be informed if they dont want to buy slop that was written by ChatGPT.
I have nothing against labelling for the Luddites.
My point is the current labelling isn't clear. Most people will be offended by 2d game art made with AI. If you use ChatGPT for some text then have to label AI use it might give the wrong impression that AI was used for imagery even if it was not. |
