32 GB RAM, nothing else running in the background, was literally on task manager closing anything. The memory and gpu was just around 50%, it just has this weird graphical glitch on the screen that seems to cause it to drop horribly to 0.5 fps, never even seen it that low. Its this weird stuttering on the screen.

I can't seem to figure it out, like how weird the 6th instance causes this to happen. I did try 5 instances and one POL and it seemed to be ok, but then another attempt it happened again. 5 instances and another game causes it to happen too..

run cpu-id / hardware monitor etc 13/14/15 gen intel have some real jank goin on

This story so far is every “strong” character simply slice the other out of nowhere.

A supposed human person can jump through a windo at the third floor.

Then he pursue an enemy that was throw at a nearby building, probably jumping out the same window he entered.

Strong character can also do teleport-ish movements.

They can also generate explosions like bombs put of thin air, and this right at the second volume.

And the classic expositional speech. They blurt out lore, mechanics, taunts, small talks for no reason, sometimes without anyone around.

I watched 2 reviews of War of the Worlds (2025).

It is one of those so bad movies that makes everyone curious. And youtubers try to farm a little with the trending topics.

But indeed, the review of this movies made me wonder: the person who wrote this either had to scrap the story in like 1 or 2 days, or has so high intellectual level that mere mortals like me can never comprehend

War of the worlds is a book, and there was already a movie made about it ages ago. The story is well known.

gave up on getting to dawntrail in ffxiv, just not meant to be. next up is wow classic, never did hit max level or do any dungeons/raids there.

The master level cleaving was a very interesting concept while it lasted don't know if it's still possible

Cleaving is always the answer, and suspiciously evaded most nerfs despite that fact. Only ever seeing nerfs in odyssey and like dyna jueno.

I watched many anime reviews this last month, and I am even considering writing my own manga reviews given how many series I read over the years.

BUT that is not what I want to talk about.

It is about the said anime reviews channels Ive bee watching.

There is a pattern there: relatively young people, with some interesting traits that review their favorite anime with jokes.

The thing is, though, reality is cruel. Those guys are too young. And they think they can make a living doing “what they like”, that is, watching anime.

But after 1 or 2 years you will see they releasing like one video per month. Their videos barely hit 10% of their subs in views. Soon, they are forced to a) talk about whatever anime is trending topics at the time or b) talk about garbage tier anime, that people love to watch because of exaggerated reactions.

One example how deep is this hole is one youtuber that at some point were reviewing loli hentai on his channel. I generally dont judge the others, but what this guy did is basically the lowest one can get for views.

But the common pattern is those young guys getting burned out of watching animes. The energy that captivated me at first is no longer there. They are definitively not doing what they want. And also not making a living out of it.

To conclude, a good saying I hear recently: dont make your hobby a job. Because it is very likely you will lose a hobby.

many many twitch streamers I used to enjoy went that route. started off with being good at a fav game or genre, then degenerated into a variety streamer chasing every new release for views. as a result some of them I just don't even consider watching any more.

I just concluded my second graduation.

Compared to my first one, it was pretty much uneventful.

This second one was completely remote, aside tests, where I had to physically go to the place to answer questions.

I was pending to deliver my final capstone project, and I had pretty much gave up to do it in the second semester.

BUT... while recording my playthrough in Palworld, I read that they would release a new update 3 days after. With new mechanics and options, my playthrough would be completely outdated from the start.

So I decided to not to play for 3 days, wait the update then re record the entire game.

So, Ive decided to use those 3 days without play to wrap up anything I could use as a capstone.

Turns out it ended barely decent, and considering the uni I was enrolled was kinda easygoing, I managed to clear it with a 3 days effort capstone project.

One important thing ticked off my list. Now I just need to finish this UX course before I can spend time where I actually want to learn

If you only ever talk about FFXI on this site then I probably wouldn't be here, because FFXI is no longer relevant to my life.

Once you start talking about things like opinions on Nvidia graphic cards, opinions on switch 2 and AI, that give me a very good reason to read stuff here precisely because economy research is my main daily life activity, and high tech industry and manufacturing is one of my main study field. Which heavily leans towards AI and consumer electronics.

And what you people talked about here is often related to this field.

If I am not on FFXIAH, I am usually reading other people's market data and report anyways. But I still need other consumer's real opinion on those tech things in real life application not just data. I want to know if people are actually using AI at work or not, and what consumer's electronics people are buying and their opinions on it. I can find numbers and data for those, but I also want to read first hand experience.

And FFXIAH has plenty of this kind of real life experience share, nor I think it's dead.
