Starting to feel sorry for Rooks too? Poor man, I'm imagining him trying to pull out his own hair while spit flares out of his mouth, smashing his keyboard while typing his reply in that P&R thread.

I wasn't happy to see he took a year break because of P&R. I had no idea that was the case and wish he would have spoken up sooner.

That's not it. I mean, for as long as I can't post in P&R anymore I rather watch the world burn for all I care. But that doesn't mean that I don't actively try to get back into P&R. Even if it is a pipe dream anyway, I still want to try to get back.

But any good faith I have made in the past few months of being back has pretty much not only evaporated, but now it seems like the hole that I'm in is much much wider.

He probably didn't want to mention it at all tbh. Who knows?

It wasn't a planned departure; I just started prioritizing other things (though I was always around to fix GW explosions and handle important things, I just stopped doing new/major development, and stayed out of the forums)


That was part of it, but mostly just in the sense that I suddenly had a lot less free time and had to be choosier with how I spent it.

He got tired of other people's *** people ignoring his Cards against Humanity threads/events and left.

I'm currently deliberating between two single player sci fi games for my holiday purchase. Outer Worlds, which looks great and has reviewed well, or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which also looks good, is considered canon, and has also reviewed well.

Its really conflicting for me because I HATE EA and I HATE the fact they have a 10 year contract with Disney for Star Wars games and have up until this game, given us two shitty Battlefront games. And its not just fake hate either, in the 16 years of being an adult gamer I have purchased 1 EA game brand new, Kingdoms of Amular, and it was specifically to support 38 Studios. Don't regret it either, it was a great game, then EA HAPPENED and the studio went bankrupt. On the other hand, I love Star Wars to the point that I have watched every tv episode and paid for every Canon comic. (Please fire Kathleen Kennedy and replace her with Dave Filoni, like, yesterday).

Sigh, decisions.
