SMN seems to be the winner this update regarding gear (before augments). Personally, I'm glad they upgraded the movement speed on the new Blood Cuisses (Carmine Cuisses +1). Not to mention the other stats are actually pretty nice as well.
On a different note, it vexes me that SE is on a pretty fuxxed up kick of gating alot of new gears' good stuff behind HQ. They've been doing that for some time now, starting, if I remember it right, with the Avatarite rings.
