PSP-GO was atleast playable.
concept was good, execution was poor, as Girlboy explained.

The Nokia N Gage was only good till the next fad phone came out, cell phones are on borrowed time from their initial boot up, but I still have my Sega Game Gear.

The hilarity about PSP Go's failure is that it could've been saved fairly easily by simply releasing exclusives and exclusive content. That's not a new concept; The Legend of Zelda Oracle games were for Gameboy Color but playing on the Gameboy Advance opened a shop that was GBA only. PS2 still had games coming out after the PS3 came out, and PS3 and PS4 aren't backwards compatible.

I honestly think the PSP Go could've been saved by a bit of insistence on Sony's part.

Since when did they start shipping handhelds without the charger, that's pretty stupid.

My iPod came with no charger but it at least had a cable. lol

EDIT: Also, they've done that in Japan for awhile now.

PS3 was backwards compatible at first. Due to it being so expensive and a very limited launch library it didn't sell well. Eventually customizations on the Original PS3s were cut to lower the cost to make more people buy it. Thing's like backwards compatibility were included on this chopping block.

This could've also been done; market the PS3 we all knew and also market the backwards compatible edition at a higher price.

Can't afford a Lexus? Buy a Toyota. That doesn't mean Toyota should discontinue the Lexus brand. Also, selling a system with no charger is like selling a brand new car with no fuel tank or battery.

Incorrect. The cable is to connect to a computer to act as a charger. Since I was taking it to work out of town for 6+ months, I bought a charger...though I later bought my laptop during that job.

If you had no computer, you had no charger but if you didn't AT LEAST own a computer, you were gimping your use of the iPod anyway.

EDIT: I didn't own an iPhone at the time, my first smart phone was a (bug free) iPhone 4 which I bought on the dare of a coworker.

Yeah, it was very different. As long as I was home it was fine, but I didn't have a laptop when I bought it and no one on our crew had an iPhone or even a smart phone at the time. I really didn't need the block until we went out of town.

Speaking of charger stupidity, one other reason I'm swapping to Android is all the trouble I've seen my sister and niece have with the "Lightning" charger. the iPhone 4s (what I have) is the last phone to use the old style, trouble free charger.

what kind of trouble? looks nifty, but lame that my ipod is the only device that uses this.

They just...stop working, Apple released the Lightning connector with the iPhone 5 and within two months released a patch that made the cables that came with the phone obsolete. Iirc they have tiny chips in them that tell the phone whether to charge or not. Cheap ones will stop working if they even work at all. My sister and niece both stopped buying cheap cords and went to AT&T and bought their Apple certified cables, both of them have been through several, not because they broke but because they simply stopped working. Part of me thinks it's a conspiracy. In all honesty (Scragg, if you're reading, this is for you) Apple hasn't really done much, they are basically the same as the first iPhone with incrementally better internals and various gimmicks added over the years with little to no ability to customize.

I'm not gonna say iPhones are total crap. Let's be honest, these are the days of the smart phone; if you want a phone that is easy to use, never changes between incarnations, and no complications arising from customizing, get an iPhone. If you want the ability to customize your device with informational widgets, retro gaming emulators, and yes, hacks, get an Android.

All I did was go in by myself, and summon my trusts.

I had to make 2 attempts, because during the first, he stripped my armor and weapons with his equipment lock, when he was down at 2%.

Learned something, went in again, and popped a cap in his stony ***.
