What time I could I played lottery with The Reward Boxes costing only 15 Marks from Dyson and Nakura. Got some decent drops, some ok, but did get a Dual Beam Bank array and Beam Array in Refractive Tetryon, goes well with my Nakura Space Weapons Set. Christened Macross Quarter-C and Macross Bolt. Had fun laying mines with Dispersal Pattern III. Used some TCD Mines I got in Purple Mk XI, and the Nakura Mines. Lets say, I Enjoyed being a bomber man WAY more than I should have. /megusta.jpg.... And 8 Web Mines on anything is massive. XD
Did have one run of Infected Conduit Elite where some guy blew up 1/4 transformers before the borg cube, and some jackass pretty much made the guy ragequit and leave us hanging for a bit with 4. My God, I think we all took like 6+ deaths. At end, took me 50 seconds to respawn...
Not too bad. Didn't get much time to play stuff since we had the kids over, but started the Tier II upgrade for the Starbase and put a bunch of stuff into it. Think it only needs Fleet Marks and Dilithium to complete. Downside is that I'm totally *** broke after buying all those commodities lol.
Newphew finished watching Gundam Build Fighters so now we're onto watching Yu-gi-oh from the beginning (224 episodes for the first series, woo!). Started building his HGUC Banshee (Destroy-mode) too, but seem to have lost the clippers I used to use to cut the parts out during the move so gonna have to buy a new pair before we go any further than the shield lol. Will probably buy him a pair too so we can both work on stuff at the same time.
Gonna buy a bunch of tools I've been putting off buying while I'm at it (pin vice, x-acto knife, etc) and really get into modding my kits. Going to make an Alt Eisen-based striker pack for my HGCE Strike first. The arm-mounted weapons should be easy enough since the HGCE Strike has sockets on the elbows to hold the shield anyway, but the extra leg armour and the shoulder weapons are gonna be a challenge.
Sounds like a good amount of fun will be had with you two ^^
I think I saw you around Vulcan before you logged, my guess was buying commodities. Did you get the DOFFs via Fleet Creds?
There'll be even more fun to be had if I can finish these rules for a tabletop Gunpla Battle game. Balancing everything is gonna be a pain.
Yeah, I was buying Industrial Energy Cells on Vulcan. Yup, 180 fleet doffs.
Merica needs to expand beyond the 4 major meats (beef, pork, chicken, and sometimes turkey) we provide for our selfs, I'm sick of only having 2 healthy choices of meat (chicken/turkey)
EDIT: Those 2 "healthy" choices also tend to be LOADED with sodium and preservatives.
There's always fish.
Especially raw fish over a bed of sushi rice...
I WANT SUSHI!!
Fish only counts as fish when it is still fresh, they don't sell any fresh fish anywhere near where I live. Unless you count the mystery fish-sticks that are battered and deep-fried then refrozen and packed into a cardboard box completely exposed to oxygen and in direct contact with the waterlogged cardboard box that has been handled by many people before you got to it.
HGBF Gouf R35, HGUC Neo Zeong, RG Exia are definitely going to be on display.
HGBF Fenice Renascita, HGBF Amazing Exia, HGUC Zeta Plus A1, HGAW Airmaster and RG Z'Gok might be too.
Wonder what new kits are going to be announced. I'm expecting to see the HG and maybe MG of the lead Gundam from Reconguista of G at least, if not more kits from it. The MG RX-78-2 ver 3.0 was announced at last year's, so another MG announcement maybe...

Buffalo is great, Venison and Duck is good if cooked right. I'd like to try Elk and Caribou, I hear they are amazing meats. I have had mutton before, but only in a goulash. If you want to get controversial, I hear horse meat is good, Americans just have a sort of taboo against it.
Moose is supposed to be good as well... I've never tried it myself though.
You say skirt steak and nobody knows wtf that is. Say fajita meat and people do.
I call it skirt steak.
Just an observation, but I'm not sure how many people take the time to actually prepare fajitas home-made. I think people go for the pre-packaged and pre-seasoned, easy route that is totally sub-par in comparison.
But fajitas can be made out of any kind of meat you want, not just skirt steak. SO you have to be specific!
Real fajitas are made of skirt steak, and because of their popularity in the past ten years or more, skirt steak has been becoming a lot more expensive. People skimp on the real fajitas. It used to be considered the "junk meat".
Same with crawfish and chicken wings. They've become a lot more expensive in the past ten years. "Junk meat" that became popular.
Yes, but while you weren't looking they completely whored out the fajita and started selling them with everything from shrimp and chicken to pork... which reminds me of an argument I had with a waiter over "veggie fajitas" which is wrong on so many levels let's just skip over it for now....
It's gotten so bad that if you want real fajitas you have to ask for arracheras.

I have never seen those for sale in any store in the USA ever.
And as for horse, I will never eat horse due to the fact that a horse can tell if a person has ever eaten horse before.

Buffalo, duck and lamb are available year round at whole foods the others are available at specialty stores/on line.
girlboy is the only person I have ever heard even think of eating a horse.... which he probably got from the expression "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"

Restaurants and hunting. You can buy duck, Conrish hen, and goose in a store. Wild duck is better, but bonier.
EDIT: Sometimes you can get quail, but that's seasonal. I've had rock dove also.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
