I've been refusing to watch it out of principal. Just has this negative "weeaboo" stigma to me. But I keep hearing that its good, and if its anywhere near as good as Code Geass, I might have to download it today.

I agree with Hevans. Despite looking like just a popular trend, it really is worth its fame. I highly recommend watching Death Note to any anime fan(and not).

Oh something just crossed my mind.
I torrented Code Geass and it was fine and all until the last episode.
In that episode the intro had subs, translating the dialogue of the opening song.
Thats not the weird part. The weird part is someone was horrendously singing over it. Anyone seen this? Freaked me the *** out.
