I'm thinking about the ending to Code Geass. Just finished last night. Really heavy on my heart.

Mhm. Spoilering for those who are bored enough, then changing the subject for Krizz's sake.

At work we generally have the radio going, and depending on who's there that day it could be one of various pop stations, a rap station (bleh), or one of the soft-rock stations. None of them are really my thing overall, but it's been amusing to sing along to some 80s/90s/00s pop. I've been on a relatively soft kick lately, just not pop... lots of jazz, some instrumental rock (as usual lol), and Devin Townsend has been working his way back into my playlists, mostly Ki and Ghost. It's remarkable how different those albums are from his older works, and I really think it's a good thing. I enjoy his heavy stuff too (and to be fair Ki is heavy in its own way), but I'd like to see more of this side of him in the future.

It was most excellent. The first half of the episode I was like wtf...is there a third season, is Lelouch evil now? I was sort of disappointed then it started to dawn on me what was going on.

Best anime series I've ever watched.

As far as Lelouch goes, I'm definitely in the school that wants him to be dead, such a perfect, tragic ending, although I've been depressed all day just thinking about it.

He could be alive, and I know theres that directors cut ending where hes pulling the cart but I don't want to believe that's canon.

There is a new season in the works, from when I read it's a completely different story/new characters. I'm excited for it though.
