Yup. There are also talks of a deal to let PS3 players upgrade to the PS4 version for free when it comes out next year.

Yes, I think they are trying to work it so if you have the PS3 version you wouldn't need to re buy the PS4 version.

Yes. PS4 release will likely come around spring of next year if I recall correctly.

True, and I'm sure the complexity added to even healers would greatly diminish the cute prefix "pocket" since so much more attention and input is required even for the most fundamental of tasks.

The need to react and move in response to stuff would come into play a lot as well. IE Ifrit has an attack that makes cracks appear under players that explode a short time later. Haven't seen anything on Garuda in 2.0 yet but she had a lot to avoid as well.

On an unrelated matter: Should I go ahead and purchase a Vita for my birthday (yes, purchasing my own gifts, lawl) in preparation of the PS4 and the slew of worthwhile Vita titles on the horizon, including but not limited to the HD re-releases of FFX and X2?

Or, should I get myself a 3DS XL and indulge on everything already out that is fun and addictive?
Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Theatrhythem, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, Star Fox, etc.

Naw, it was a "special" one for E3. Supposedly the story battle but for 8 people. Wouldn't swear to it, though.
