You would have thought killing the NMs also gave you bonus Units, or a KI that added a multiplier to your units based on the monster level. I'm perplexed they didn't add an individual bonus or reward for participation. Hopefully they add something later.

Which again is not surprising. The Volte blue mage is among the worst of all the Wave 3 Volte Nms. Between its status debuffs, including petrification, and massive DPS output it needs to be silenced pronto and stay that way, and even then it can still kill people if it turns away from the tank just by skillchaining them.

It's just the same experience as wave 3 NMs. They just hit...really...freakin...HARD!

The blue mage NM is basically the elephant in this one. The honeybadger is a naegling with reraise.

I did download GOT back in the day, and torrented hundreds of games/movies before that, but changed stance on piracy pretty strongly over time. we've talked about it a few times here. nothing has come along since then that really tempted me at all.

While basic, Caladbolg making big numbers makes my brain happy.
Behind it is Foenaria/Apocalypse. When going at 1k TP they are similar-ish and the self-sustain is excellent. Every time I think about playing WAR I realize I'd miss this too much.
Mythic/Ergon aftermaths on melee weapons is really fun with the occ. 2-3 hits. I only have access to it with Epeolatry, but I love it.

The annoying jobs are annoying regardless of how many people you have (WAR for Cleave, BLMs, Staff Users (SCH GEO WHM), MNKs, THFs, SMN (Astral Flow or Blood Pacts), BLUs etc. The tame ones are like DRG, SAM DRK, any of the harmless HQ volte mobs in dynamis. More people feeding more TP on SMN = Earth Crusher + Blood Pact spam, was fun taking 1800dmg through DT (apparently they ignore dt or somethig wild).

EP loss is going nowhere.

Most there will be is a nerf to their Aoe spam, attack power or both.

Its just DI, campaign bosses, beseieged bosses etc. Though i figure theyll either nerf them or heavily reduce/remove ep loss on death

I would probably enjoy a lot of those shows he mentioned like GOT, LOTR, Stranger Things, but keeping track of what platform each one is on and when the seasons release is a huge hassle. cba to bother, just like he mentioned.

By the way, if you are on rov 2-39(maybe other) you can escape to al taieu right? Well you can also use tractor to unlock all 3 HPs. After finishing rov you can do limbus with just 3-3 cop done.

Helheim - It made Great Sword, Great again. The SC properties on Fimbulvetr at first glance don't scream at you, "ELITE!" But they really should be in vogue. Not only do they allow Great Sword to self Darkness finally, they also allow it to do its own endless SCs with two strong WSes. Fimbulvetr > Resolution makes Scission, and after that you can loop as many times between the two as you like or until the mob is dead/you run out of SC timer.

Since Resolution has the same properties as Savage Blade, this means Helheim is meta WS friendly too, in things like Kalunga. So you can endlessly SC with your buddies as well. This also allows it to mostly bypass healing Aita, if you coordinate even a little (of course it's always just better to only Fimbu on Fire/Thunder/Earth TP moves instead).

Then, it also has good SC relations with Black Halo, for any of you Pimp Cane RDMs out there. RDM puts up insane numbers with Maxentius, and Fimbulvetr > Black Halo = Gravitation, which you can then play off of to make Darkness on the next Fimbu.

Then the PDL aftermath makes its Resolutions rather beefy, and its stats make its Resolutions rival R25~30 Agwu's.

Plus it's a sexy black and purple version of Ragnarok.

Ragnarok - It's pretty, and I still like it. I do wish they'd upthrust its Aftermath potencies. Still technically the most versatile Great Sword for skillchaining, but lacks the oomph of Helheim / As good Party SC play(imo).

Farsha - Cloudsplitter gets to be viable, and when you show up to Peach Power with one, everyone chuckles. But then the CORs wind up animated, and your self-Darknesses are no slouch under magic oriented buffs. Looks cool as hell too! Then there's the fact that Calamity AND Mistral Axe are power house moves with nifty properties.

Kogarasumaru - I don't care what anyone says. This long boy is still great! The tsuka ito on it is great to look at, and I like its historical reference.

Anguta - Coolest looking Scythe model in game.

Yagrush - Coolest club in game

Gandiva - beefs up the coolest ranged weaponskill in the game, and is jet black and gold kinda. Very cool bow.

Excalibur - it's too sexy for its gearsets, too sexy for its gearsets, so sexy it hurts~

Kikoku - It's blue.

Good catch, thank you! The size setting in the settings file was not connected to the Aggro List size, that has now been fixed :)

You can adjust how it determines if it's displayed with the `min_monsters_to_show` option. Setting that to 1 will make it so that it only shows up when there is at least 1 monster aggroed, for example. I've been waffling between having mine set to 1 or 2, but I think I'm leaning towards 1.

Not at the moment at least, not sure how to target something by Windower command.

The SMN was a pain. Did AF about once a minute which nuked my trust. Sometimes Ygnas or Sylvie would survive but not every AF.

Spharai and Guttler. Both talks and Guttler animation is so cool.

FYI in case someone asks later - There is no Units bonus for participating in the killing of NMs, or Matter for opening the chest this week. I turned in my KIs after several died in Temenos, and still only got 3000 units reward.

All it takes is one singular person to attack the NM, and if it has an AOE like the SMN, everyone will get destroyed, bots included.

Some idiot will leave their bot to target unclaimed.

since you can RP the equipment after getting the augment, the augments should be capable of being dat mined, right?

I made Kikoku after getting dark blade and am having so much fun with them. I will make Heishi but it’s just such a fun combo.

There might need to be yet another channel for notifications when/where these NMs spawn.

Currently with Temenos especially having so many floors, you won't see any yells saying an NM has spawned while you're in Temenos as they only go to the cities. So you rely on LS members seeing it, or being there.
