About damn time and it looks like it'll take from SF4's art style. I just came. MvC2 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games, I'm stoked!

man.... this is like a dream come true. I don't even know how many quarters I pumped into that MvC 2 machine 10 years ago. I hope the online is awesome.
Hopefully the fighting engine isn't like street fighter 4. MvC is far to fast paced for an engine like that to make for a good MvC game.
I hope they at least try to make it balanced. I don't feel like fighting a legion of Cable scrubs that spam FP x 5, QCF P all *** day.
And they shoulda put Leon instead of Chris :(, but it looks like I'll get Dante at least! get hype!

For what it's worth, I would be stoked if MvC3 was simply a re-hash of 2, but with way more characters. As far as character balance goes, I thought it went well; scrubs who tried an nuke-happy team (Cable, Ryu, Iron-man) were always the easiest to fight, because you could predict their moves so easily. They always provide fun opportunites for crazy supers, like those from Akuma, Zangief, etc. I may have to pick up a console just for this game :D

anyone else getting mvc3 when it comes out? :O we should do some ffxiah matches :D I sorta want it for the sake of getting it, but I'm horrible at these kind fighters (i.e 2.5D ones).

Honestly, I miss the old days of the arcade because you would play side by side with a challenger, talk smack with your friends and aquaintances, play DDR or other games, things like that.

I rarely ever used Megaman in MvC2, but still, he's one of Capcom's biggest characters. I am disappointed. At least they dialed back a bit on the SF characters to make room for more Capcom ones(Arthur and Haggar are gonna be badass). The last game was basically Marvel vs. Street Fighter and friends. EDIT: Seriously, Tron Bonne and Zero, but no Megaman. I call shenanigans. im more upset the lack of spiral and cammy.
ughhh... no more cammy Killer Bee Assault endless combos...  Kinda saw it coming after street fighter 4 came out, hell they've already redone street fighter 4 once

Saw some ppl playing this earlier @ Best Buy today, fast combat and effects are really nice. Would've loved to give it a shot, but a group of D-bags were monopolizing it and would only swap controllers with someone else from their group... /shrug just will have to wait till I pick it up.
