This thread, and Bgwiki giving into it is a small scale version of why all video games and media are censored to hell now.
It's why Cid in FF7 R can't smoke anymore and all the other crap.
A handful of people with nothing better do do but whine, and the people in control of things cave and give into them. So the rest of us have to live in babyland.
When you give into these people all you're doing is giving them a dopamine hit where they complain and got their way on something nobody else cared about, and then will do it all the more. They don't give a crap about people with down syndrome or whatever else, they would cross the street if they saw someone with it coming at them.
It's all performative, now the entire world has to change and be censored to the point we are afraid to say words cause of someone that wanted "to make a difference" online by being an annoying ***to everyone else.

nice reach bro! it's actually a character from a webcomic who was rejected by her people's priesthood for not meeting their standards of beauty despite her very apparent competence in spirituality. she's my fave in part for that tasty character work, and in part because she has a lazy eye just like i do. it's cool to see that representation as an actual factual part of a character's development and not played for laughs.
anyway you wanna talk about how myopic and regressive it is to spill paragraphs against the two minutes it would take to remove a slur from the wiki? is there a more juvenile stance than that? very weird hill to die on man.

The thing that really annoys me about this nonsense is the self important people that push this stuff think they are making a difference in the world, and progressively leading to some kind of utopia.
This is not correct, this is all top down enforced on people and is not the natural state of things. Once that top down forced behavior control system from social media is gone all these things will go with it.
