I know its not supported any longer but currious if anyone has had this issue with guildworks addon. I really only care about having my bazzar items listed on the site. Its been working great up until the most recent patch. Now when i reload the addon my bazzar will display for 5ish min, then vanish off the site. Reloading makes the site populate again, but again only last about 5 minutes

anything coming to replace it for AH bazaar data collection or REMA checklists?
It works well for me still. I am glad as I keep relying on it for interacting with ffxiah in-game to find out item prices.

I saw this thread, checked it and my bazaar disappears within 5 minutes. I've seen other people's bazaars listed for hours on end still. When i leave my toon afk for hours with my bazaar up i always do a /gw flush, that fixes it for me.

If it's not supported anymore, why is data still reaching the site at all?
think it has to do with the matterhun

secondly: on top of the normal GW issues, there being a recent update, AH itself crashed and had to be restored after it's recent host move. If you still have issues probably best to say something on discord in the support channel and hope Scragg sees it. lastly: any money going to GW actually goes to AH last I checked. As the keys were given to Scragg. I actually built a similar bazaar feature into Vanalytics but it's not easy to get a good bazaar collection without a mass of users. I should say, getting your own bazaar displayed on the site is easy through a windower addon... getting a bazaar feature into an app that would let you find items to buy in other player's bazaars isn't easy without a ton of users regularly syncing bazaar data. I turned the bazaar sync off when I realized I couldn't get the economy feature I really wanted from it. Maybe worth turning back on?
I haven't built much for economy analysis but it might be interesting to do.

I updated Guildwork plugin but it will require a Windower/FFXI restart to get the latest. It includes bug fixes concerning job levels, bazaar entries, char nation. Hopefully stability will be better. Feel free to report issues.

Thanks for working on this, Scragg. I love Guildwork and the interaction with FFXIAH from the game is invaluable for me.

Still lists me as inactive in my linkshells BUT it finally actually shows me in them!
The plugin only seems to function for one instance of FFXI at a time?

Try to reload. Hotfix version is 2e097542495f. To get the version: //gw version I haven't been able to pin down the //unload guildwork crash. It doesn't happen all the time but it's annoying. I may need the windower team to help with that one.

I know it's not officially supported really, but it crashes 100% of the time if you try to load it on Linux

Another thing to report: it didn't pick up A Crystalline Prophecy completion on my achievements.
I also still have no rank info, maybe because I'm listed as inactive? Looks like the plugin doesn't pick up items in Wardrobes 5-8, btw. Good to see some updates and fixes though!
EDIT: Nor storage slips, but that is probably more complex to add. :)

Nice to have this working again, thank you! I noticed it is displaying skills of current job, is there a way to just have it display whatever the max skill obtained is across any job? Will it be able to pull mission data and have that field updated?

To get the version: //gw version I just had a chance to shut down all my instances so I could get the update, I got it although the displayed version is Guildwork 1.3.0 c64599271510 i686-pc-windows-msvc. /ffxiah command is working well, but for some reason it lost its color formatting it used to have. It used to display some text in green, red (maybe) and yellow, now everything is in yellow. Also, a bit more important, the prices are displayed without any thousands separator, for example if an item costs 10 million gil, it displays it as: "10000000" rather than "10,000,000" like it used to do before. A bit difficult to read :D. I know these little things will get fixed when possible, for now it's working, up and running and showing now skills and the other adjustments you made, thanks again! |
