For magic barrier and occultation, yes. You can get a few more points negated by magic barrier or a extra shadow as mentioned but imho it's better to let that last shadow go and switch in FC pieces for recast reduction or -DT, at least while engaged. Conserve MP is also a swap worth considering for occultation.
