More confirmation for bloodblotch. Took me 51 of them.

edit then 3/45 bloodblotches (plus 3 venom dusts!) 1/2 and 1/39 for rings on bloodblotch
eta 1/181 and 0/80 currently. funsies. 1/11 Bonefish (fished in Ra'Kaznar Turris)

Can't say I like SE walking back their commitment to be clearer on gear stats with regards to these new rings. Should I assume that rusk + 1 and macaron + 1 basically bump any rusk or macaron up one tier to the next? Does a sugar rusk function as a chocolate rusk and a chocolate as a coconut rusk under the influence of the ring? Does a coconut rusk bump up to -8% material loss and +4 hq as if another tier of rusks existed? Same with the kitron macaron, does it become +9% skill rate and +9% success rate?
And I'm left wondering if you have to put the ring on before eating, or if the food bonus goes up and down if you take the ring off and on.

Shen: Can confirm you get Riftcinder drop (have photo proof if necessary). Also got a Pearl twice. Went 3/114 on items - only 1 Riftcinder.
Bloodblotch: 1/78 on Ring. Got one on third try, none ever since.

It looks like the running tally for Confectioner's ring is 6/500 according to reports here, so drop rate seems to be 1%.

Any word or thoughts on what the Seabird Ring does for us fishers?
Just for anyone that might want to know using Coconut Rusk with the Confectioner's Ring Equip does not increase the food duration

edit: nope. he doesn't want it. Tiger Sharks. 248 gil for no item and..  2 rings in 9 sharks Doesn't take King Perch either. Don't hate myself enough to go fish the other crap on the list.
