"Selling a book" isn't enough to discredit a career politician like John Bolton. I'm sure you and the GOP will try to run that line into the ground starting an hour ago, but it doesn't matter. The guy took notes of all of his conversations in the WH, before he even knew he was gonna be on the street writing a book.

Even in your best-case scenario, you still don’t even have a crime. The great thing is according to the rules the GOP passed any executive privilege complaints will be settled by the Chief Justice, so there will be no months long legal battles.
