These updates don't come close to making RNG what it used to be. For the most part they're tweaks on something we've already got or just added convenience. eg. Unlimited Shot will not increase your damage in anyway, but it will stop you from losing rare and / or valuable ammo. Velocity Shot will not increase your damage but it will stop you having to put it up every five minutes. I still would love a chainspell for RNGs. Shoot bullets instantly like a minigun. :3 PS. Moral of your post: lolpup. Velocity shot = Increase att power and speed of range attcks... pretty sure it increases damage lol

Hey, Corselet is hot and (Semi) Useful. Best Dark Knight Enfeebling, Dark magic and (Pause for lolz) Elemental body. If SE ever releases the Dark Magic Damage spells that have been in testing longer than the new goddamn Avatar, it might even see more usefulness.
As for Kyudogi, I can't talk ***on that, cause I just uncursed a cursed Breastplate, Twice the Materials and Twice as useless!

Enmity- doen't seem a big deal, no increase of damage at first sight, but allow to shoot more before you get hate. That's something good rangers will appreciate! The update is quite nice for Rangers, but won't change them back to THE job everyone want (I'm even surprised to hear ppls want to level ranger because of the update). It will make the Ranger job more fun to play, but not realy more powerfull.

BST, SMN, PUP, DNC.... and they come up with RNG. Next Job adjustment is obviously for WAR, DRK and SAM. 2 new abilities for WAR+DRK+SAM, a new /bell command, equip that enhances chocobo riding time, the yew fishing rod will be enhanced and for the glorious final: TEAPOTS IN CAMPAIGN!!! So noone gets thirsty while slapping Fortifications... Not to say the WotG missions won't ever have any avatars as reward, but we will get something for the ammo slot - that is throwable to make us /sob. Aswell Quadav will now throw brogame-tells instead of stones while using "Ore Toss". The only valuable thing i could imagine is from one of the first update notes where that sexy dagger was shown. Guess it will be purchaseable via Allied Notes, since the mithra wore a Cobra Set. Tho, Congratulations RNGs out there! Hopefully i see more of you now!!! /cheer

Actually as stated in the update they will be adjusting Bst and Smn, but i think your right it is time to add some more to sam, afterall it has been some time.

They should change it like PUP works. Actions by pet goes to pet and action by master goes to master. I mean PUP can deploy his automaton without getting the base hate so that mobs aggros the master after the pet dies... SE just likes to experiment i guess.. or lazy programming.

I'm quite pleased about this update, partly because I am surprised that rng was up for consideration for tweaking.
The enmity reduction with Camouflage looks exceptionally handy, and will indirectly boost your damage - I can think of many situations where I've held back from unloading a barrage because of fear of pulling hate at a bad time.
I can see a nice new combo of: stealth shot -> sharp shot -> WS -> barrage -> camouflage -> shoot -> WS for maximum damage and minimal hate. Maybe flashy shot before the last WS too, assuming camo stays up, and the enm reduction overrides flashy's enm increase.
That being said, they haven't made the one change I really, really wanted, which is to make Shadowbind like old-style bind - i.e. unbreakable for the entire duration.
