No, I'm just musing a bit here. We want universal healthcare, guaranteed jobs, and various other insanely expensive socialist programs, but securing funds for a vastly cheaper wall? That's just unrealistic.

Congress pulling together funds for a wall is about as realistic as Congress pulling together funds for universal healthcare. So, thanks I guess?
You can also keep intentionally ignoring the other aspects that make the project stupid despite them probably being more of a hurdle than just funding. Bernie Sanders wants those things.

Well, as fun as it is to argue, that's all pretty much just opinion. I'm not ignoring, just disagreeing at a low enough level that I don't care to go line by line while I'm at work. I don't think most people can conceptualize 1,900 miles.

That's why it's become a sort of symbol for both sides. For the left it's a symbol that they won't be able to freely import Democrat voter factories and use them to change population demographics. For the right it's a symbol that they can reject the whole global citizenship multiculturalism forced diversity philosophy.
