Putin banned his main opponent from running against him, rigged the ballot boxes, and killed reporters that said bad things about him. The guy is a despot, a real villain, the POTUS should never congratulate Putin on anything. It seems like leaking the phone call is the only way to get Trump's attention, its that limited.
I didn't hear you complaining in 2012.

Nobody cares about 2012, once again classic deflection from Rav, trying to shift the focus to Obama. Its becoming very predictable now.
I find it interesting how the two biggest threats to our national security just recently saw their two despots essentially seize power for the rest of their lives, one of them literally in the case of China, and Trump lauded them both.

You know Obama must be thrilled that this latest budget agreement saw major wins for his already good legacy, no wonder Trump is so mad about it.

It has less to do with "deflecting" to Obama, and more to do with destroying the credibility of anyone complaining about it right now. It didn't matter then, therefore there's no reason for anyone to care now. Boo frickity hoo, Trump made a phone call. Whine about it some more.

What are you talking about? There were major wins and losses for both parties. DACA got left off the table, gun control didn't get anywhere, and military spending increased. Exactly what part of "Obama's good legacy (lol)" are you referring to? A domestic spending increase for Dems that Obama couldn't get when he was in office?
Btw, Trump did end up getting money for the border wall. Only $1.6 billion, which is a problem for implementing new prototypes but not for extending and reinforcing the wall with the older technology.

No, he got nothing for the wall, he just lied on twitter about it too. He got 641m to build a fence line in San Diego and repairing existing fenceline, the funding specifically says no concrete. Trump has made a point to claim a fence is not a wall. And the rest of the money is for reinforcing levees in Texas. Zero dollars will go to the building of a new wall.

Well, that didn't work.

They did include the conservative hated "Fix NICS" provision, and the tea party is screaming, so yeah, a win.

Well it looks like Congress has agreed to a 2200 page 6 month spending deal, with two days to read it and pass it before the gov't shuts down again. As if it wasn't already obvious, Trump's stupid border wall is never gonna get any funding. Shogun is thicker than that, and it takes me, a prodigious reader, anywhere between two weeks to a month and a half to read that cover to cover. Congress, staffed by brain-dead republicans, doesn't stand a chance. What?
IT's best not to read CJ posts it's like Alex Jones is posting on FFXIAH.

There is a theory that insane people don't realize they are insane. A level of insanity so far gone. They have no self awareness.
I'd say that 90% of FFXIAH has no self awareness. And may or may not be insane.

On a very bad day for the WH, Trump caps it off by announcing war monger John Bolton will be the new National Security Advisor, which there will be steep consequences for in Congress. I would expect Mike Pompeo will not be the next Sec. of State, nor will Gina Haspel be the next CIA director. I would also expect the gov't to shut down tomorrow for the weekend.

Chevron’s lawyer, speaking for major oil companies, says climate change is real and it’s your fault
In a court hearing in San Francisco, oil companies publicly backed the science of climate change
The Verge
Quote: In a federal court in San Francisco on Wednesday, major oil companies concurred with the “scientific consensus,” saying it was “extremely likely” that human activity has been driving global warming since the middle of the 20th century. They just don’t think they can be sued for it.
“Chevron accepts what the IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change] has reached consensus on concerning science and climate change,” said Theodore Boutrous, who represents Chevron and is heading up the assorted legal team for the five oil companies that are defendants in this lawsuit. But, he said, that didn’t mean that a civil lawsuit was the right way to address climate change. “It’s a global issue that requires global action,” he said.... From there it gets down to what the meaning of is is terotory.
