Inb4 - what's a "good" route and why is it good and not bad. Also why is the other route "bad" and not "good".

When you get the treasure boxes after mid/last boss (not incl Ou)


wait no, that cant be right. smaller light takes you to the big room before Ou, but you cant get treasure room on that path.

You mean the free floor with chests to choose from you get by chance after teleporting? That can happen after defeating any of the bosses, including Ou.

But it's random (some theories on number of points you have, idk). How can you choose to get a random free floor.

Intermediate quest Reforging Relics 2 is bugged. Not giving the Rem's tale reward. Tried it on 2 characters. Luckily this one isn't gating any other quests and can be left unfinished if necessary.

Why would you have to choose to get it? There are other ROEs that aren't thoroughly determinative, like spoils requiring drops. You can't CHOOSE to get a lizard tail on each lizard you kill.

You can do multiple omens until it happens, though. It's also possible we're not understanding what good route means.

Happy ending vs sad ending I guess (I actually have no damn idea this is not constructive nor helpful)

In the past, SE has dubbed "good lights" in Omen campaigns to mean that when you start an omen floor, the objectives are already "good" (I guess this means, the objectives are completed? or you are able to go to the next Omen floor without completing primary objectives?). My guess is that the ROE means that first "good light" is what took place. *shrug*

I dont think I've ever seen it after Ou.

I've seen it plenty of times after Glassy and the 5 bosses, but no recollection of doing Ou then getting more loot.

That could be why it broke on that path, though. Trying to handle a condition that can't occur. Definitely can't get it from going 2f to the smaller path floor even if it is possible after Ou himself.

I think the "good lights" just refer to the good "omen" numbers you get when you port up. It doesn't have anything to do with "The light shall come even if you refuse to obey" message and subsequent free floor. I don't have a list of "good" numbers, but I have noticed that same-triple digit Omen numbers produce the treasure portent floor (which the Double Light Up Campaign helps boost, you get two chances at treasure floor vs just one). I.e. 222, 777 etc is a "good" omen number. You will see a treasure floor after killing the floor 3 boss or any of the 5 normal bosses.

Looks like being lazy with RoEs finally bit me. Need to finish Int1 now before I can get to Int2.

I know there are some classes that will appreciate only needing to make one. WAR I think is a good example for AF: Make feet, get Legs for free, and you're done with that! Or make any class head/hands/legs/feet, save 5m on a body piece. I'm okay with this, personally.

Have seen it after Ou at least twice. It's already rare, and you do the other bosses a lot more often than Ou.

I distinctly remember getting the 666 omens message and thinking I had a treasure floor coming only to never get it on an Ou run FWIW.

Fairly certain you can get a treasure room after Ou, it's presumably less common though because you only get lights in the first two rooms and the whole trash loop doesn't count.

Unless you're doing all 5 bosses then burning everyones beads for one Ou to restart the cycle.

I'm willing to go through my logs and confirm it, I just dont remember what the message I'd be looking for is. Something about a flash of light or whatever.

I've got those messages plenty of times with no free floor after it.

Hence why I always thought "those numbers mean there's a free floor coming" was a myth.

Have done way way too much Omen, fwiw.

What's the message for a free floor in Omen? I can grep the logs.
