Gonna laugh when it's like "Oh, that was lost in translation, we meant that it's only applicable to peach power. womp womp"
Suddenly imps become Gukumatz Aery
That's how I read it...but I'm hoping it's wrong. I wouldn't put it past them to do something like that to promote content.

For SE staff who might be reading this: To put it mildly, the amount of translation errors is really off-putting and sometimes, very underwhelming.
Now, how I actually feel: The disparity between the English translation of the announcements and the actual implementation in-game is usually significant enough, that it can induce a major depressive episode. :)
If the login has free pop
If I couldn't buy ML30
If I was under ML30
Doing peach for 120k would be worth it. 60k is "ok" but 120k is "pretty darn good"
If I were a normie, because around ML30 it's a bit regoddamndiculous
Either way, I don't think running peach power with 6 people and doing 14k EP sortie runs 7 nights a week is representative of the average. Yes, if you tryhard you will cap the bonus. Obviously?
A half-assed ~80% Sheol C run is like... 25k? That's assuming you have someone ML50 keeping EP low and skip a few groups or halos.
It might take a casual player a bit more than a week, but between Omen, Divergence, Sortie, and Sheol, I can't imagine anyone actively playing is going to have unearned bonus left when the campaign ends.
After the segment bonus campaign I'm not sure why anyone expected EP campaign to be anything but mediocre. It's gonna be the same whenever they get around to adding a muffins campaign for Vanabout #whatever; They get to say they're giving players the campaigns we're asking for, without actually changing the overall grind much at all. SE is 100% happy with those grinds as they stand.
The playing population shows we’re just as fine with it though. You either casually get them while doing your Odyssey and/or Sortie runs, maybe setup a regular party on lolibri or something and remember how tedious leveling was after an hour. You either then decide to slowly get them as they come, or pay Ggfbffhrrvbfbjdfe to get some for you as you sleep or go to work.
The only thing I’m surprised at is no EP ring or something yet.

Or you just get yourself a bot to do it. Seems to be what most people's response has been. I don't know how poor Cpreturner stays in business.

Botting on SMN will be...extremely inefficient to put it mildly.
Some people's gear sucks.
If you don't multi-box, solo ep with nothing but trusts is ***, especially if the previous point(s) apply to you.
Some people don't want to risk their character.
Some people think botting is wrong, but draw the line between "I'm botting" and "I'm paying gil for a guy who's definitely botting"
Some people aren't comfortable with AFKing while botting, but want ep while they sleep or work.
More or less. There are people willing to risk botting, but many more who aren't. Especially when there are so many selling, and it's quite cheap. (until the 40-50 grind)
There may be a 1% chance of ban for the botting, but functionally 0% for afking in a party of bots. And of course, they're much faster with idris geo, cor and a jinpu spamming sam.

This is a completely insane estimate for the vast majority of players. You're don't even realize you are the 1% - the masses are playing a different game and aren't coming anywhere close to 80% Sheol C clears at their peak performance. There are a lot of people probably going in solo/lowman, with friends who aren't using high end gear, maybe just doing a couple Ody runs a week, etc.
where were all those p server people that love EXP as content. You cant even make the excuse "well at least in EXP you have new things to look forward to compared to ML" when they level sync 24/7 lol
The "excited to get a new ability" thing ia a farce anyway. In the 75 era here's what you have to look forward to while leveling WAR from 1-75:
Berserk (15)
Double attack (25)
Warcry (35) lol...tiny attack boost for a short period.
Aggressor (45) lol...tiny accuracy bonus for a short period.
And that's the end of the list. How exciting! Most jobs are worse, tbh. NIN from 40-75 is *** BLEAK. Rng gets like...barrage at 30 and that's it?
I guess you can look forward to unlocking new WS, but even then, the jump in performance is insignificant most of the time, or there is no increase. There's like 2 WS worth looking forward to per weapon type.
And as you mentioned, when level sync is constantly being used it's totally irrelevant. Oh congrats on level 59, now you can finally use that haubergeon your GM friend hacked in for you. Except it won't give any stats because you're level synced to 25 for efficiency.
Its a bit disingenuous. While the ja may be lacking, you were always looking to level into new gear and new spells.
That was exciting. Having your next set of axes or daggers or katanas. Being 69 getting psyched for the ohat. Being 49 just before freeze. 47 just before viking axes. Being 32(?) one level before viperbite. One level before rampage. Those were moments you can't replicate.
It completely evaporated at 99. made the uninspired attempt with Su.
In addition, we are lowering all of the hallmark requirements needed to trade for the Ambuscade rewards. This reduction applies to both the total rewards and also the exchangeable rewards. I believe this should help you get your equipment in order a bit faster than before, so I hope everyone takes advantage of this change.

You haven't summarized the weather changes in Japan, so I still needed to click it :/

Cool, but starting to warm up. The cherry blossoms will be blooming before the next maintenance. Time for new beginnings since university graduates are joining their first jobs and companies are moving into the new fiscal year and doing restructuring.
I wonder what they mean.
I ASSUME they mean all the rewards related for Ambu Gear (armor, capes) and nothing for the ambu weapons.
It's strange though that they specifically mention Hallmark and not Gallantry. Which in all honesty, if there was something to streamline, it was the Gallantry cost for those mats, not the Hallmark...
The only Hallmark Cost that maybe was to be adjusted is the Resin and maybe Dye, everything else looked ok if you ask me but I guess we'll see what they really meant in a few days.

Agree, the Gallantry costs for Metal/Fiber in particular (and Chit +1s really) make little sense. Probably because they weren't adjusted last time.
That said, while the notes don't mention it, the table at the bottom says:
Quote:
・Reduce amount of hallmarks and gallantry required for certain items
So likely they'll restore/keep parity in Gallantry costs too, but yeah, we'll see.
There's also the part about being able to get mats for THREE capes in a month, all except dyes, for which you can get mats for just 2 capes and that's frankly quite stupid.
Personally I'm done with capes, but hopefully they will fix that.
