I see the end comming. I had a dream about it. First every NM will be uncamped up and unclaimed for weeks on end. You'll see gm's in Sea showing players the exact method of killing AV and it will be common to see people wearing its items after several weeks.
And finally the end for everyone will be personal. As you start getting warnings about them shutting down the servers and thanking us for being faithful, you'll start to think "Where do I want it to end?" For me it'll be in Bastok near the first NPC I ever spoke too, Reet. Seems right. I guess.

I'd get on a ferry on Aht Uhrgan sailing into the sunset, and then bust out laughing when an NM pops on my serene moment and kills me. :P

I'd be on the phone with my credit card company putting a stop to any charges SE makes. I'd call SE like someone said previously, but I honestly don't trust them.
Mordion and then GM tool through as many of the cells there as I can. :D
i'd be sad too see my char DC for the last time so im not sure if i'd even log on to see the end

-Bastok Markets -Misareaux Coast (D-6) near the entrance to Rivernes portal -The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah -Lufaise Meadows (Blueblade Fell) -Al'Taieu up the bridge to the Celestial Capital (around either dawn or dusk time) I like sea colors those times -Temenos -Tu'Lia (Ru'Aun Gardens) "during stellar glare weather (double light)" -Empyreal Paradox Lol I might have forgot a place but those on top of my mind right now , I just like to end my character in one of those places. In the spirit of Memimi's idea, I'd be in the Chateau trying to swoon Curilla into my chocobo haystack. :c
I would choose to be dead, right beneath the demon what would of dropped my thf armlets in xarc, just to add to my frustration. Damn SE.

NPC everything. Buy stupid crap off AH for stupid amounts. Alt+tab to FFXIV. I'm thinking like the end of evangelion, except without the bigass naked woman and the huge robots.
I would gather my friends into an alliance / party find somewhere to chill, and remember all the good times we had, then find out what server on FFXIV most of them would be joining.
hmmm tough choice. Well first off I wouldn't be too suprised, was planning to leave for Star Wars the Old Republic.
Have to say tie between Ru'lude gardens with linkshell and friends saying our goodbyes or Norg with my 75 nin, best gear on, kicking it with the pirates and ninja npcs saying my solemn goodbye. /log and play something till Old Republic comes out. |
