For me nothing he said was rude, then he wrote that so people not even have an room to speculate he was trying to be rude. But people will find a way :)

Not going to belabor the point, but I don't think it's at all disrespectful for me to hold the following two thoughts simultaneously.
1) Falkirk has done a fantastic job with this guide, with lots of great input by others incorporated into it. The guide is super helpful and I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the time and effort that has gone into it.
2) Regardless of the already very high quality of this guide, I don't think it's perfect (which is totally fine). But I would love to see it get even better, so I wanted to suggest some areas I think could be improved. My opinion is that it's important to show alternatives for items that are especially difficult to obtain, or that are mutually exclusive with other item choices.
None of that means I don't appreciate Falkirk's obvious care and effort. And at the end of the day, not my guide, not my decision what goes in there. I'm just one member of the BST community giving suggestions of stuff I would personally find helpful, and I think a lot of other people would too. If that comes across as disrespectful to you, I don't know what else to tell you.

i wonder how bosses like F H or Aminon would do with Bst as the source of TP denial
I havent, but I can have a good guess:
H - might work, but TP denial setup that want to avoid all TP moves would probably kill slow and you would need to find a way to counter KO move every 3 min.
F - Fatso would most likely die from AoE, unless you would spam healing and there is big chance it will get stun locked in thunder hand mode.
Aminon - it has regain. Fatso could work as one of the sources of TP denial, but definitely cant be the only one.

I was asked which Mog Bonanza rank 1 prize I would be most interested in... (for bst i'm interjecting)
But no matter which way I think about it, the Malefic Axe is just not appealing.
I cannot think of any situation where shaving off a second or 2 on ready will make a difference.
But after reviewing the rank 1 prizes again, I think I would prefer the Diamond Aspis. It would make me willing to go fencer build and /drg on bst most the time.
1. It fits well with my preferred bst build which focuses on Primal Rend Damage. With Nyame filling so many slots, 30 MAB is rather worthwhile in the offhand slot.
2. Full-Time Killer Instinct is enabled by this.
3. I'm really hoping, and wanting to test, if it increases duration for self-buffing ready moves. I think it SHOULD, but it also seems like the sort of thing SE would completely overlook.

Agreed on the above logic, and to make Malefic Axe even less appealing, it's not even just a straight reduction... you're gonna have to time the Skillchain appropriately too, with at least one ready charge waiting on JA timer.
Regarding Diamond Aspis:
Killer Instinct alone is a solid reason, but also worth keeping in mind that you could get some good use out of subjob JAs (e.g., Berserk).
And it's worth noting that as a multi-job weapon (unlike many of the Bonanza weapons), even if you're prioritizing BST, it has some really good use on other jobs if you happen to have them. WAR for longer Warcry is huge (Berserk/Aggressor are nice too), PLD Rampart/Sentinel/Palisade are fantastic, RDM Saboteur is cool, etc.
As a serious NIN, there's no way I could pass up the Yagyu Darkblade for a rank 1 prize... but I'd go for the shield as my second pick - and that was mainly thinking from a PLD WAR perspective, but it would be awfully nice to have on BST too.

I wouldn't count on buff Ready moves being included. Possible, but to me it feels kinda unlikely due to Ready itself not even being a "/ja" command. But it would be a nice perk.

It needed to be ready damage+ or duration, or effect, something other than recast on an already very low recast pet ability, that or increase it to 3-5 seconds shaved off

Adding 1-2 maximum ready charges (i.e., charges go to 4 or 5 with this axe) also would have been an interesting way to go. Could have given this weapon a unique purpose that would have been a super fun bonus for a lucky BST winner, but not so fundamental to the job that locking it behind bonanza weapon would have felt unfair.

thats actually a really great idea. extra charges would make it uniquely useful. You could setup pet skillchains that normally cannot be done because of charges, but it certainly would not be game breaking.
very elegant solution. I like it.
thats worth posting to official forums as a suggestion.

OMG, and do you know what they could add for those lucky few BSTs who wield that special axe?
Brave Hero Glenn. Ready move. 4 charges.
I have no idea whether I'd want that move to be incredibly strong, or an absolute joke

Same, ive always wanted that shield so we could be able to keep KI up all the time.
And i cant believe ive never thought about being also a great off hand for primal rend lol

Does anyone have any slick tricks for bosses in sortie on BST?
I have a small group and we've reached the stage in the grind where we are totally ok trying new stuff out for fun.

What kind of party composition do you typically roll with?
I don't have much Sortie BST experience so am also curious to know what works best.

Think BST could slot into melee method decently well assuming pet debuffs land reliably on basement bosses.

I haven't tried BST yet but Dhartok is an Amorph so far as I know and pet pulling can be useful depending on what you're doing. If I can find a basement boss that BST trivializes, I'd be happy. Even if it's faster runs on E so we can kill more trash.

Off hand weapon for savage balde?
Ikenga is pointless as i dont see myself unlocking it all the way to the tp bonus +500.
I was thinking of doing the Renaud's axe for the tp +1000 but maybe its outdated these days?
Im currently using farsha as off hand for the str and mnd modifier lol <.<
Mind you, its just for a personal use, i like to have a set for every weapon ( doing also an asuran fists set at the moment hah)
Thanks!

tp bonus fernagu if you don't need the accuracy, ikenga if you do (it still has 15 str and 5 wsd at r0) Is the wikia somehow broken?
I can't understand how to get to the fernagu.
It says is a trial after you get the Renaud +3, but apparently trial 2417 seems to be the last one for that axe as it says "none" under next quest

The trials just aren't linked after that one. The axe trial page is correct and goes trials 2417 => 2850 => 3313 here.

I haven't tried BST yet but Dhartok is an Amorph so far as I know and pet pulling can be useful depending on what you're doing. If I can find a basement boss that BST trivializes, I'd be happy. Even if it's faster runs on E so we can kill more trash.
It looks like you are focused for magical damage judging by your jobs. IF you go magical Damage, Zhivago or Bredo are your best pet options. Though I prefer Zhivago in Sortie. Too much Stuff react badly to water or darkness damage from Bredo. LIght based dispel from Zhivago is also very useful. Ice spikes is incredibly annoying. and demisang get alot of buffs when near mages.
Thing is you will want either Aymur (preferable) or Farsha (viable) for magical WS damage on bst. Though I think Cloudsplitter will actually skillchain with corsair and Rdm and Cor than Primal Rend. last stand and cloudsplitter make light. though bst has no double light. Mistral Axe and Savage Blade also good light combo. could toss CDC or aftermath last stand for double light.
The mdb down 25% will boost everyone's damage significantly. However Leaden Salute and Primal Rend do not skillchain very well.
I'm sure you don't want to use it on the salamanders...
but Leaden Salute > Seraph blade = Distortion > Primal Rend = Darkness > Wildfire 2x Darkness
All strong magical damage.
Dancer is preferred support job for bst in Sortie. chocobo jig from mlvl 30+= is a huge help and stacks w/ movement gear. I run around w/ +40% movement speed.. though if you have a corsair, you probably don't need that.
Patrick makes getting 4 step skillchain on demisang quick and efficient if you want to go for D boss.

blockhead > Tailblow > Brain Crush > Tail Blow > (Cloudsplitter, Onslaught or Primal Rend)
Patrick can 4 step w/out master skillchain also.
You can also
Primal Rend > Tail Blow > Brian Crush > Tail blow > Primal Rend/Cloudsplitter
