Don't tell people you have chatmon!
Chatmon will say "Someone is talking about you" whenever your name is mentioned.
"Incoming emote!" when an emote is directed at you.

It's a third party tool that says "You being talked about" If someone says ur name.

... Why would you have something set up to alert you when people talking to you on and vent on at the same time... unless you like bot while in your ls while there doing events your waiting for?
The people I talk to on vent aren't in my linkshell. :P
I hate that. lol I replaced my /tell buzzer with a Chocobo chortle sound, and every time I get faked out by an RMT tell, it just makes me sad. :| Really handy during alliance/event down-time or in general when you aren't paying attention 100% since you can even setup triggers for nicknames people have for you.

Are you really this stupid or are you just trolling? Problems with the chime: 1.) It doesn't always work 2.) You get false alerts from RMT 3.) It's an annoying, harsh sound Chatmon fixes these things by allowing you to customize your alerts and it also blocks spam messages from RMT. These alerts are a lot easier to hear and always go off if you have your filters setup correctly(ime). Chatmon has absolutely nothing to do with botting and by trying to associate it with botting you make yourself look even dumber than you already have in the past.

It's an extremely sharp sound that, imo, is worse than <call>. Quiet calls silent marches and quiet mog mods from aikar's ui installer ftw, also you can have Chatmon play w/e noise you want, I really don't like the creepy stalker woman alerts it comes with but you can change them.
Chatmon is useful because it can filter anything you would like it to based on key words or phrases, mostly for rmt spam. It also notifies you when you get a pt invite, which is pretty nice when dual boxing for events. Plus everyone afks, gets distracted or tabs over sometimes and it's nice to have something that will grab your attention when you need it too.
