Some objectify women as potential sex-toys. The white knights are objectifying women as fragile, empty-headed porcelain baby dolls that require protection from society and ourselves. I'd like to think I'm more than just a victim waiting to be victimized. To either side that's all I seem to be. At least the perverts are a little more honest about what they are and what they want.

It was a parallel. You're upset that you're subjugated into two trite and inaccurate categories (one more than the other), and then you're doing the same thing to men. Consider how you compare the two extremes as "both sides," inferring a duality of black and white. That's hypocritical.
I can speak up about women being marginalized in video games as an over-sexualized and simplified demographic and not be a white knight. It's poor taste, shitty writing and a corner-cutting art pitch. It's got nothing to do with wanting to impress/save a woman.
