It has to be a troll or they listed their subjob incorrectly, because if they actually changed their TP gain rate with either item, they had to have dual wield.
It's possible that he was wearing some form of STP in his body before he swapped to the Skadi's Cuirie +1. Might've been just some guy super excited he finished his armor so he herped so hard he derped hardcore on the testing.
Gonna go head and ask on here to avoid a new thread... If I traded just Idi's Gloves instead of both Idi's Gloves and skadi hands, am I screwed? I don't see a way to get them back and she won't accept my skadi hands
IIRC, she doesn't take away/store your 45 piece (Storage Slip 14 does that) when you trade it on its own. The new and old sets use different coins, so there's no space for any error to be made.
If she did take your Idi's Gloves, try trading your Skadi + 15 gold. Yeah I'm just dumb and didn't see them in my list disregard :X

Also worth noting you CAN mule plans to characters on the same account so don't trade those to her unless you're sure you want that character to use them. She won't return them. Way I remember doing it is I tried trading the whole set for skadi +1 at the very start and she only took the Idis. Then it'll open up a bunch of options and just inquire about the Skadi Bazubands +1 set. Then she'll tell you what she needs and just trade her the remaining required pieces.
