Than there's also Divergence Weapons, and JSE necks and Capes, but those slots are so specialized that normally it's the above three that you're looking into.
It's definitely a bit annoying to have to scour the pages manually, but at least they're setup in a way that they're decently searchable for the most part - tho I sure wish Unity items had searchable descriptions alongside searchable augments.
The other day I was searching through head gear for bard and was gonna go do delve for fast cast
I had just warped home after getting rapid shot feet and accidentally found vanya hood has fast cast for bard so I went back
Having a local output file would help a lot as ai tends to hallucinate when it hears gear names and no values it goes out and gets it from who knows where
Is there a value that could be lifted for the augments when doing mining? Is this so obfusticated that we don't know until we explore the content?

Bunzi's Hat (Nahtira Hat) is a non-augment FC+10% that can easily be searched through this website, so you would have found a better and more modern piece if you search for it.
Relevant augments in 2025 are
- Alluvion Skirmish Armors and Weapons
- Unity Rewards
- Oseem augments
Than there's also Divergence Weapons, and JSE necks and Capes
There's also 119 Abjuration gear and Nolan sets from Escha. They might seem outdated, but there's a few pieces here and there that fit very BIS niche slot situations (I still use Ryuo Somen +1 in NIN Gokotai DW build, because it has highest STP and DW you can get in head slot, but you can't search the STP so you wouldn't necessarily see that in a search). I'm pretty sure my COR uses Pursuer's Pants for when I have Flurry2 active for max Rapid Shot.
As I mentioned, it's also Odyssey gear and augments too. I've found a number of instances where I was looking to build a set and Odyssey armor was preferred, but there was no augment search capability. For example, when I first started making a RUN SIRD set, I started out with Taeon, but then found better pieces in my search. Eventually I stumbled upon Agwu's Pigaches, which at R30 have SIRD-10%. I ended up not needing any Taeon or Agwu in my set at all, but the point is it would have been nice to search for the stat and see everything in one place, rather than jump to several pages to see augments.
Another (larger) issue I've found with augments is that absolutely nobody bothers to update the wiki anymore. I was building SBII sets on various jobs, so I went to the BG Wiki Subtle Blow page. It had the first few common items from Omen era and Su4/5s, and nothing after that. Mpaca's Hose was missing, Ikenga's Hat missing, Gleti's Knife missing. I added them, but I found several specialized pages just like that where no mention of the relevant gear is even listed (go to the BG Wiki Daken page, no gear is listed. You'll never find Tsuru or Kunimitsu unless you had it ranked up high enough or knew it was an augment for the weapons). The previously mentioned Agwu's Pigaches still were never added to the Spell Interruption page, but Agwu's Cap is on there (the difference is one is an augment and the other is not). People just don't update the sources anymore, so it's much harder to find stuff you're looking for.
My advice: Check all of the above gear sets' augments after searching for Items on this site. It might be buried in one of these pages as an augment that nobody updated.

Well, he didn't mention it for Cures, and he's likely already carrying Bunzi's hat for BRD TP so it's not an inventory investment at all. I use Kaykaus +1 for BRD healing anyways (but Vanya for GEO), so that's not applicable in my case, but I digress.
I didn't really intend to get into a debate about efficiency and inventory optimization, I was just responding to his query in that using the search feature for Fast Cast on this site would have returned the Fast Cast head piece he was looking for, unless he specifically was looking for a cure piece or multiple-fc/cure job piece.
Y'all are very right that I forgot Escha - Zi'Tah gear (Nolan), and Escha - Ru'Aun (Abjuration), in my mind they're wrapped together because it's all Escha but they're definitely different categories of stuff, with some really good pieces still. Imma edit my post.

The bgwiki team has kind of given up on mantaining those pages - it's a royal pain in the *** because the wiki is not setup as a database, and each of those tables needs to be mantained manually. They're probably just going to disappear entirely someday in favor of people using FFXIAH's power search.
(if anybody here doesn't want them to go away... well then maybe they could contribute mantaining them, don't need to edit all of them, just amending the one you found lacking is plenty.)
I was certainly not calling out the BG wiki team. I absolutely adore them and admire all the work they've put into that site. That comment was moreso directed towards the players. It takes one minute to make an account and update the wiki accordingly. You don't need anything special besides just a desire to contribute. For whatever reason, everyone assumes someone else should be doing it. There's pertinent information in everyone's discords, in these threads, and even in people's heads. Doesn't require much to say "oh this page is wrong, let me edit it with accurate information".

I suggested that there should be a (better, with a couple more columns) template for "gear with statistic" so people didn't have to manually build a table every time and Spicyryan rained on my parade (in the discussion page for "Equipment Modified Table") hard enough that I did not create one!
this was, checks notes, eleven months ago
time is a flat circle
god knows I'm too lazy to even make a template beause I fear doing it wrong / getting yelled at / doing any amount of work, but I could probably commit to using a template if it already existed, even if the content is just transcribing this site's Power Search I think there's genuinely value there because that's not a very user-friendly way to do it
(my proposal is that it should look broadly like the table I made for the SIRD page, give or take, but I assume it can be made far more streamlined and user-friendly and also prettier I just kind of picked everything at random)
I've been updating the wiki cutely as I've been plodding along... and my contributions are all still current...
---
It's been about 2 weeks since I returned and I feel like I haven't really accomplished much of anything. I didn't think exping would be so slow? Maybe I should show a little leg or something to get cleaved or something.

Are you prioritizing Rhapsodies of Vana'diel key items? and also yeah just get cleaved if you have any friends and don't mind skipping the grind it's mega fast but like, RoV gives +30% per KI (additive) and you get one for free right after subjob, one at about level 40, third one is level ~80 if you don't just yell for help with it (you're on Asura it can happen etc)
Do escha lottery NMs only have a single pop at a time?
Im watching this person take a million years to solo Warder of Fortitude and wondering if this is why its refusing to spawn for me, can only 1 copy of it be spawned at a time or was it just bad luck?
I implicitly trust you most of the time, and it is technically possible for them to use dynamically assigned entities to spawn a second, but it seems quite unlikely. I think in this case, you might be remembering something wrong.
I've personally spawned at least fortitude, justice, and hope twice at once.
I doubt this
If 2 can be up at the same time, 2 can be dead at the same time and I have NEVER seen 2 dead bodies of those.
So unless FFXI suddenly changed the behavior of moving dead bodies between death and respawn (and not just marking them unseeable).
only 1 can be up at a time

Whoops it's been a bit. Yes! I completed all missions prior to TVR in anticipation of turning the guy into a geo box, but alas. Now I'm full timing him and just trying to get everything out of ffxi that I can :)
I don't know if it would be more effective to level all jobs simultaneously or to focus on one at a time. They're all at least level 40 with a few 99s and 60s.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
