Agreed and I'm sorry for dragging it out further. I'm done, and I really wish that this hadn't gotten so far off topic.

It always seems like... when those "certain" people show up in a thread saying

"gtfo, better way to do this, dont waste my time, dont clutter the forums"

that all of a sudden the mood of a good post can get sour
WE ALL KNOW WHO THEY ARE

but just know that there are people out here like me, who actually like reading stuff like this. Kind of reminds me of The Flock back on Quetz, a full bst ls. BUT JUST KNOW that there are some people out here who DO care, and posts like this are not clutter to us

we could be a lurker who doesnt post
we could be a regular poster

but don't let them get you down because THEY dont like what they read. There's always an option of keeping your goddamn mouth shut, or contributing the thread, but the internet isnt that nice

so welcome to the internet and thank you for the read!

Several of you need to learn when to step away from a thread. I deleted entirely too many posts in this THREE PAGE thread.

It's a very fun job, watched a video of a puppetmaster soloing Glavoid with only his Valoredge, cannot remember the link but what he did was extremely simple. I take the job seriously though, use it in dynamis, have it very well geared, still not up to what I would like but it's a far cry from how it used to be.

Yeap, doesn't matter what job the mob is either, weather it be magic, ja or ws.

Really? I've never seen them proc and I've yet to see proof of them proccing.

Though I know that the JA attachments do proc WS mobs instead of JA mobs in all zones.

Yeah I've had Flashbulb proc plenty of ws, ja and magic procced mobs, though on magic my soulsoother usually gets it with a poison or something first.

Then that's not Maneuvers proccing, that's the Attachments proccing. Completely different. :/

Interesting to hear they work on JA and Magic mobs as well though seeing as I never tested the Magic mobs extensively but I was never able to get a proc on the JA mobs.

I used flashbulb as an example, on the very rare occasion I had Mana Converter proc something but its a very very small percent. I usually end up !! the mob before the auto can anyway. Person we used to do dyna with had Heat Capacitor do it once or twice, believe that was the first time I'd of seen it proc from a auto.

Nah you'll want to go /dnc, just do DC mobs and you'll get a decent drop of currency instead of doing EPs, plus better chances at forgottens.

The point is, that's still an attachment. Basically, if the puppet uses any of its attachments that usually results in some kind of animation(Such as Flashbulb, Heat Capacitor, Strobe, Mana Converter) then it has a chance to proc. I'm not trying to be mean but we gotta keep our facts straight, maneuvers do not equal attachment abilities.

Still this is useful information and I thank you for bringing it forward. I need to test some of this on Magic/JA mobs a bit more to confirm for myself because I'm always slightly skeptical, but this is still useful information none the less.
