Using Razed Ruins, Gnarled Horn, Scorpion Queen + Rancor Mantle, still able to land non-critical hits with mainhand.
25% (base) + 5% (merits) + 30% (RR) + 20% (GH) + 10% (SQ) +5% (Mantle) = 95%
If Coruscanti's +5% were affecting mainhand, I'd have 100% crit rate. But I don't. Ah, forgot merits, but could've sworn base crit rate was 20% when capped.

And I just tested to be sure, I *am* able to land non-crits with the Coruscanti.
Wait. If you're able to land non-crits with 100% crit rate, doesn't that mean that the Crit bonus on Coruscanti doesn't work in the offhand at all?
Or do you mean it doesn't affect your main hand? This kind of fits with what I saw against my 200 mandies in Saruta, too.

Okay. 20 (base) + 5 (merits) + 30 (RR) + 20(SS) + 10(SQ) + 5(Mantle) = 90% Before Corusc. Corusc. (+5%) --> 95% crit rate. Yeah, so... either find an additional 5% crit rate somewhere, or math it out and make sure its 5% crit rate you're missing. Mathing it out will be hard though, since you'll have to exclude all off-hand hits.
Anyway, I ran out of visitant status not paying attention but:
1418 attacks in Abyssea with 90% crit rate on Mainhand and +5% on offhand (Coruscanti): Melee Crit Damage Player #Crit C.Low/Hi C-0.Avg Crit% Sylow 1351 14/274 205.79 95.28 % Crit rate should approach the average of the two hands if the +5% is only applying to one hand (92.5%) That's not what I'm seeing here, although I'm not sure if the sample is large enough to exclude either case. Definitely warrants further testing. But at this stage it looks like it's affecting both hands. You can force a 100% Crit rate:
Merits+Base+dDEX+Razed Ruins+Gnarled Horn+Dark Depths = 95% 95% + Coruscanti = 100% If you crit 608 times with Something/Coruscanti, then it's a 100% crit rate on each hand. I don't have Dark Depths :(
DNC can't wear anything from Salvage :D Okay, well 1351/1418 = 95.28% +/- 1.6% (halved the sample size to compensate for only half the hits coming from Coruscanti)
Still, it looks like Coruscanti's Crit rate affects both hands. This makes me wonder about Senju and stuff. Oh, I can try that new Kacura crap to force 100%
Or I could just get a larger sample size instead of spending 3 mil! Give me a target N!

Pants question. I have Alcide's subligar (doesn't look like a sub thank God) for EVA, but what about normal TP set? I have Calmecac and Charis +1. Would the loss of 1 haste be made up by the 2 of DA and TA?
