I'd say the overall best mythic is by far Yagrush.
I'm not a main WHM by any means, but if I had to pick a mythic right now, pretty sure I'd do Yagrush >_>

How do we define "best"? You can compare Yagrush to Ryunohige as much as you can compare Gjallarhorn to Mandau. Which is to say, not at all.

What job do you like?
Is the mythic useful?
Why are you making it?

These questions should be answered in the order they're presented. Too many people start backwards: "I want to make a mythic because SOO RARE", "but which is the most useful?", and "here are the jobs I like". This is a surefire recipe for a backburner project you'll never finish.

Most people who know exactly what they want and go after it don't even finish. I would put some serious thought into this. No one in this thread can answer these questions for you.

Good points in this post, ill answer em myself too:

What job do you like? In this order: BLU > WHM > BST > DRG > rest (i like all my 90s but these are the ones i like the most).

Is the mythic useful? Well, I'm just aiming to complete 1 since the gil sinking and time sinking are really big, so blu is out of question since i have almace and im very happy with it, it comes to WHM (as mentioned, not that good with /sch and af3+2 bonuses), BST (which would enhance the already devastating pets) and DRG making it even more broken dmg wise)

Why are you making it? I'm making because at this point of the game for me, i want some "challenge" (or at least something that requires more than farm 1-4KIs and spam 1 lolNM) in the means of doing other stuff than abyssea, my set getting salvage gear now (yes i know, we are 4 years late lol) and to do other stuff than abyssea (toau beast kings, znm, salvage, ein) which are getting old.

Compared mythics for these jobs with their counterparts (relic/empy) and they seem to be better since they enhance the job itself more than the dmg (which outparses em in most cases too), the bonus on Aymur is just that good :D (also yagrush AoE -na veil even on other alli party members is win).

P.S.: Ash, u lost your drg card long ago!!

If you get the DNC mythic, it comes with an "Honorary Ninja Turtle" membership card. Therefore, I conclude that it is the best.

I thought that had diminishing returns?
Gimme the haste proc ratio relative to delay and dCHR and I'll crunch some numbers

And when you say testing, you mean.. a calculator?

Part of me is fairly certain that it will end up being top dog at 99, part of me remembers that SE isn't aware that BLM doesn't melee HNM.

I think the point was that Expiacion makes darkness :x That aside, isn't the level 90 Laevateinn supposed to be pretty nice with a solid INT build? I haven't seen much info on it, just speculation among friends.

Most people instead of devoting time to Laev will just scoff at another weapon with a BLM WS and not have second thoughts about the Totm ele staves; however, I personally dont think enough testing has been done to give it an unbiased thumbs up or thumbs down (If there has, forgive me I just havent seen it). From my viewpoint, its a pretty hot staff, if even to macro in for Ele Seal /shrug. Given the opportunity I'd rest MP in a Dorje too so~ there you go

sorry for the double post

No, that's not how potency/affinity vs MAB works. It's nifty town gear due to its rarity and an extremely marginal improvement to your damage output if you get to use Elemental Seal for epeening instead of trying to stick procs and such, but that's it.

The Elemental Seal bonus is well understood, takes all of 2-3 casts to figure it out if you have an equal number of brain cells to rub together. MAB vs potency just needs some basic math, we figured out how those two stats work ages ago.

To be fair, Vidohunir is at least sort of useful because of the reduced magic defense. If they just changed Lae's MAB to universal potency, kept the macc, and maybe added hMP, it could actually be a good weapon. Won't happen though.

I didn't know people still cared about PW aside from the atma, much less the one drop that was never useful to begin with. Are you a time traveler from 2008?

Also, numen staff says hi.

I think I can agree with nearly everything you say except this. Perhaps you're the time traveler? The dev team has said they might completely rework the function of several relics/mythics, though this change won't happen until the lv99 versions. Do tell me good sir when the lv99 update is coming. My money is on this time next year.

fact.
the effect on the lv 90 version on these does null the delay to 0, on top of haste should give u a constant hundred fist effect (after saving up for the first 300 would get u the following 300’s hellafaster)... u can only imagine, that being said thats just a bonus to the weapons actual ability. the fact that u can spam maneuvers constantly without an overload (i "HEARD" u can spam up to 15 of the same maneuvers before an overload) people that actually play pup knows how devastating and game changing this can be. not to mention you can cast spells on the move, switch hate/HP.. this weapon my opinion is the best, and wielded by a good pup would turn him/her godly.

I would be all too happy to see them make Laevateinn functional, so if I'm wrong I'll gladly eat my words.

Not necessarily. I'm pretty sure the additional tiers of Martial Arts on Kenkonken (with the possible exception of the first) are weaker than the ones gained from traits. It would correlate with reduced gains on other weapons such as Spharai.

well
the pet attack bonus on aymur goes from being 10 at 75
to 48 at 90
so I wouldn't necessarily call things out based on the traits of other weapons, especially how counter could easily be seen as being overpowered at something like +20%~ on spharai, where martial arts at the most is just going to improve on your dps by an, although significant, relatively lesser margin than would countering at such an increased rate.
just saiyan

I'm 90% sure I found some data a few months ago that pointed to reduced benefits, but I can't say for sure. I only mentioned Spharai as an example of another weapon with reduced benefits; a counterexample would be Conqueror which to my example has seen the Berserk augment scale at 5% per tier each time (45% attack bonus oshi-).
