Heya everyone!!

I'm making this thread to get some feedback from everyone about which mythic is the best (or you think its the best) and why.

For me, the 2 best ones would be yagrush and aymur, followed by burt and ryu, reason for this order is my main is WHM and that weapon at 90 would enhance even further my role and aymur would really help me and my pet kill faster.

Doing 1 myself and cant decide really, i love whm, blu and bst a lot but not doing the blu mythic (have almace already) so just those 2 left, leading to aymur right now.

I saw the bonus for the pet @lv90 aymur and its really great, making me look more forward this instead of yag.

thanks for the feedback!

aymur is the best weapon for BST out of the relic mythic and empyrean option imo cause unlike guttler and farsha, aymur actually gives the pet a bonus

Speaking from personal experience using Aymur, the two main bonus you receive for using it are:

When you can maintain AM3 for your pet (no weapon swapping + safe to DD) the additional attacks and Pet TP are very nice.

Enhancement to Sic/Ready. While exceptional when stacked with ferine manopolas+2 and Fencer from pets, you'll only ever see that bonus when you are utilizing 1 Charge Ready moves. Anything more than that and you'll be using the move when you already naturally have 200+% Pet TP rendering it null

Ryunohige is pimp status+10 making Drakesbane even more powerful plus the soon to be occ. attacks 2-3 times with 300 tp aftermath... yes please. Yagrush if you don't care to have a DD mythic (the best anyways)

Based on what enhances the job the most? Kenkonken

Based on what's most useful in general(which means it would need to be on a job that's useful for current content)? Probably Nirvana, but that's not much of a competition. Most mythic weapons are either not very good, or the ones that offer the largest relative bonus are't for useful jobs.

Also, Yagrush sucks. Don't know why its so heavily fawned over in a time when you rarely have more than one person in AoE range.

Kenkonken and Ryunohige are the best for their jobs and among Mythics.
Rest is debatable but there are some good ones(Death Penalty, Yagrush, Aymur, Burtgang, Nirvana, Terpischore too I think).

If I won the lottery/had time I'd make a KKK hands down, but then again that's just a choice among the jobs I have.

How do we define "best"? You can compare Yagrush to Ryunohige as much as you can compare Gjallarhorn to Mandau. Which is to say, not at all.

What job do you like?
Is the mythic useful?
Why are you making it?

These questions should be answered in the order they're presented. Too many people start backwards: "I want to make a mythic because SOO RARE", "but which is the most useful?", and "here are the jobs I like". This is a surefire recipe for a backburner project you'll never finish.

Most people who know exactly what they want and go after it don't even finish. I would put some serious thought into this. No one in this thread can answer these questions for you.

I think the question is suited around "which gives a greater benefit for the class it pertains to".

i wouldn't bother with yagrush at this point in the game. esuna and accession are good enough for most things if you do have more than one person on the mob.

The OA2-3 on Ryunohige will be amazing since it stacks with Jumps giving you 80-200+ TP per Spirit/Soul Jump. It's also Drakesbane Damage+15%...

The Aftermath 300% on ryunohige is easy to get and maintain since the OA2-3 on Spirit/Soul Jumps will give you a ludicrous amount of TP.

weaponskill might even get a higher dmg increase @ lvl 95, have to wait and see for testing, but since relics remain mostly unchanged except dmg+ this update, i wouldn't be suprised if all relic/mythic ws got an extra dmg boost.

I have a fail Tizona. Damage wise, can never come close to Almace. Even upgraded to 90, it has the same DMG and delay as Isador (sword from Isgebind).

The aspect that does set it apart is in magic-heavy situations (e.g. you like to spam spells), the TP->MP helps as an addition form of refresh (especially with level 3 aftermath). But even at level 4, the rate of return is still disappointing.

The worst thing? Mainhanding Almace and offhanding Tizona, the TP->MP will not proc. Damn you SE!

Dunno about you, but outside abyssea all I do is spam spells, especially in dynamis. The sword seems pretty good in that respect. The only qualm I have about it is the WS blows. They need to add some serious damage boost for it to be any good.

However, in dynamis I'm either using circle blade or burning blade for ws procs anyway, so who cares.

I'd say the overall best mythic is by far Yagrush.
I'm not a main WHM by any means, but if I had to pick a mythic right now, pretty sure I'd do Yagrush >_>

IMO, Kenkonken is the most game-changing. That being said, I would still probably do Nirvana or Aymur...

near every job can do that these days though /feels less special
I think the point was that Expiacion makes darkness :x

That aside, isn't the level 90 Laevateinn supposed to be pretty nice with a solid INT build? I haven't seen much info on it, just speculation among friends.
