if mythics are not your thing then you might as well get gungnir since the emp polearm is ***and all the other weapon classes the emp is compareable/better than the relic.

assuming you wanna stick to a weapon that is otherwise get the ghorn and share the wealth

i think youre missing the overall message of my post which is to get a ghorn. its not obvious but its there

but overall if we are talking about relic/mythic/emp weapon and he doesnt wanna do a mythic then the polearm or scythe would be better than the emp

but i think we can all agree is why listen to some tard on a forum and just get a weapon for a job youd wanna play?

I didn't miss the message about Ghorn, but Gungnir sucks and there's really not much reason to pursue it or recommend it at this time when there's an easier to obtain and superior alternative.

Also, Rhongiomant isn't that bad outside Abyssea.

I find it highly moot myself to go about suggesting building a relic on the basis "it's better than the empyrean version", for all we know, all of the relics at 99 will beat the ***out of any empyrean, weapons change, and to base your decision of a relic on how things are for the next month or 2 is just silly. Make what you want, otherwise wait until 95 cap at least to see what direction they're taking the relics.

In the meanwhile just sporadically collect some currency, even if you change your mind and require more of x-type you'll at least be that much closer when you make up your mind.

man you guys must smell blood or something i'm just trying to help this guy out with the info he provided. it's clear this guy is poor at decision making if he is asking people for advice on something such as to what relic to make so in honesty he's probably not listen to anyone with the best argument.

now that before i start, this is all based on many conclusions I have already come to about the op. here was the method behind my madness...

he obviously wants to get some big *** points ah/server point while still having a useful weapon. i wont argue that an oat twice polearm is better or that any other non-relic/emp/mythic as it is only going to be slightly better at that.

i'm going to assume mythics are out of the question because it's not something you can just throw money at, therefore it's gonna leave emps and relics. it's clear he wants big *** relic points so now it's just up to which one to do.

looking at his job levels, he's got war, mnk, whm, sam, nin, drg, thf, and smn. he is too impatient to think of something he wants so i'm assuming he is not gonna wanna waste the time leveling another job as well.

he's already mentioned having ukon and thinking of getting masa and kannagi. so that means he'd need something to sport for his whm, mnk, drg, thf, or smn.

a relic for a whm or smn would be a poor choice and more sad than big *** so really he only has mnk, thf, and drg to choose from

mnk emp is much better for dd than the relic so that leaves that out of the equation.

that just leaves thf and drg. since the drg relic is much bigger and is much less common, the gungnir will be the best relic for him as it will provide him with the most big *** points for his server.

Mythic polearm. GO.

Not sure why this hasn't been stated yet, but I'll go ahead and say it.

If you have to ask which relic to do, I would bet it is highly improbable that whichever is decided will more than likely not be finished.
