H2H - counter+ is nice, but frankly there's so little now (if anything) where it's make-or-break, much less particularly helpful over simply destroying ***with Verethragna.
Dagger - maybe better than Twashtar? I'd argue it's better inside but maybe not outside.
Sword - I've not been impressed with it from what I've seen. Do Almace.
GS - Anything where it's remotely interesting in comparison to Caladbolg, I'd likely prefer Apoc.
Axe - Uhhh. No idea.
Gaxe - Metatron aftermath is a decent boost to survivability, Ukon destroys it for straight damage.
Scythe - nice for new VT+ content in that you don't necessarily have to play as defensively, plus acc for new evasive content (voidwatch).
Polearm - SHOCK SPIKES
Katana - lol
GKT - competitive with Masa, shines on new high-level content
Club - still best meleeWHM mainhand if you actually care
Staff - *** YEAH CLAUSTRUM
Gun - I believe this is superior to bow for RNG? Nice for Voidwatch I guess.
Bow - Maybe inferior to gun for RNG, fun toy for SAM though I have no idea how it fares these days.
Horn - still useful, works great in combination with Daurdabla since you only have to use Daurdabla to initially apply the third song provided you don't let any drop.
Shield - Breaking the MDT cap is pretty damn useful. Situationally preferable to Ochain.
