This is either your chance to help guide her out of certain doom and console her as a friend, or present yourself as a more reasonable candidate. However, I would advise against the latter due to the sensitivity of the current situation.

Since her only other candidates seem sexually experimental and confused about each other and have the tactfulness of a rock when it comes to persuasion.
But yeah, 99% of the time that's a friend-zone only thing, but it really depends on the woman.

Well on a much lighter note. the girl I sent a valentines gift to is mailing me something. Iono what it is. its comming in the mail in the next 4 to 6 days. so i'm excited.

So how should I go about seeking a date when it comes to traveling to a different city out of state? I mean I know they need common interest in what the event revolves around, but it just seems like a social faux pas to come out of the blue with "Hey, wanna come to Chicago with me for a concert? :D"
I rather not resort to craigslist, and my options are also limited in the most lame and superficial city known to man: Las Vegas.

Well in all seriousness, I'm sure they all have their issues to have to be posting on there. Especially if they cant find a "good" man. I know plenty of women that have trust issues with men and commitment. I've told them it's all about where you find them though. You pick up someone at a club/bar, It's not going to be something serious. =/

This might sound silly, Artemicion, but if you can't find a girl to go with, why don't you go with a guy friend? :D Unless you really want a date? I bet it would be easier to find a guy who likes Rammstein and FF than a girl (I know that's the case over here, dang, no other girl I know likes games ; ; ).
Also, Starbucks girl sounds more like the type for someone who is okay with polygamy or just wants a fling. Judging from the posts made, she doesn't seem like a keeper if you want a committed relationship. I get a bit of *** vibes from her if I'm honest, stringing guys along. Well, one of my good friends is going with me. But I believe he's making his own accommodations since his sister lives there and everything.
But I guess my objective is to find a date for myself as to seize the rare opportunity to go see a new city and experience something amazing and unique. If I can do that and have some degree of companionship with it, that would be wonderful.
I rarely have companionship to begin with, let alone chances to go see new places and things, so this is just kind of an attempt to "complete the picture" so to speak.

Also the pressure is kind of on to find a date as one of the girls I asked turned out to already be going to the show with her own date; and she agreed to do a double date over dinner and drinks after the show. For the sake of my pride, I rather not show up "forever alone" lol.

I'd seriously consider posting a thread seeing if you can find someone to go with. Just keep in mind it'd probably be just pure companionship, but at least this way you know you both have one thing in common. I'd say post something on cragslist, but I find that site incredibly sketchy. @@;
