Any good RPGs for the Xbox 360. I have played FFXIII. I like the final fantasy style play, but I don't necessarily care for all the blood and violence included in a lot of what is being put out there now. Any good ideas? Star Ocean any good?

Lost Odyssey is pretty decent if you are looking for like traditional JRPG from one of the big honchos who used to work on the ff series.
there are quite a few good'ns out there anymore though.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, Dragon Age 1 and 2, Mass effect 1 and 2 for more of the western type RPG then you have Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean: The Last Hope for the typical JRPG's. There are a few others but IMO those are the better RPG's on the 360.

Yeah, I like the JRPGs a little better. I played a little Star Ocean when my bro-in-law had it, but it was kinda like playing a demo (why I specifically asked about that one). Thanks for the feedback, now I have a few titles to research.

In that case you could also look at Enchanted Arms, Magnacarta 2 and Blue Dragon those are pretty fun also. Star ocean only really shines in how the battle system is and has an ok crafting system to go with it, story wise.. not to sure was awhile ago I last played XD

Lost Odyssey is very long, but good. Does get a bit repetitive though...

Vesperia was great as well.

I really liked star ocean, but I played it on PS3 which had a huge gameplay, graphics, and menu overhaul. I heard it was too easy on 360. Other than that I assume you could pour probably around two weeks into the Dragon Age games with ease, if you're just looking for a FFXI filler.

Sure he meant Rocket Propelled Grenades. I lol'd when I read it the first time, then thought "Smartass!"

Not really looking for a filler, just looking for a game to play. I am a very casual gamer and would like to have something I can just pick up and play, and that has a pause button >,>

They only ever made a few hundred thousand copies of the game iirc so it's pretty damn rare to find D:

They are making Tales of Graces F and Tales of Xillia on the PS3 iirc also as the newer titles I think.

Does it have to be turn based? Fable 2 & 3 are pretty casual. Plus once you own shops you can stop playing, come back and it will give you the "rent" for them so its easy to make money too. :)

Nah, doesn't "have" to be. I always liked Zelda too. I am really just hoping to get a bunch of titles to watch videos and read reviews on. I am actually making a list as people post.

K.. hmm.. Oblivion is good but a bit repetitive. and Two Worlds 2 just came out and it looks promising. Borderlands is a shooter/rpg type mix and Mass effect 1 & 2 are pretty good.

Edit: and Fallout 3! really fun.

Not near as bad as Last Remnant though.
