Leon, just download Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 3 & Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic Spinball. It's free and it's hours of entertainment!
Maybe throw in Toejam and Earl for good measure. Definitely leave Ecco the Dolphin out though. Evil game. Naw, thanks. I'm good on Sonic games as it is. :I

Shame FEAR and FEAR 2 don't have any Steam achievements. Wouldn't mind playing through those over and over trying to get them. :< I'm a total achievement ***. I can't wait until XIV starts back up so I can get to work on those. >_>; <_<;

Yea, you shouldn't really ever attack npc's :( But I killed that already-nearly-dead NPC at the beginning with no problems (by mistake; tried turning camera with R2._.;); why would the totally unharmed living guy be any tougher? D:

well, almost every NPC in the game benefits you.
That NPC in firelink is the "guide", and will tell you about 20 different things throughout the game. They're kinda important if you want to avoid using the internet looking up where to go.

I will tell you 1 thing leon that you might be interested in if you like story, but it's something not obvious so if you don't want to read it then don't :O
You'll have the cleric in firelink, and an NPC in the church.
This NPC is hidden on the 2nd floor. If you see a red ladder and you haven't freed him keep looking.
After you beat the boss for the first bell in the church then there will be new people there. If there isn't then go kill the capera demon and check back, they should be there then. Talk to everyone until they have no new dialog. Log out, then back in, they should be gone and the guy should be saying he is leaving soon. Log out and back in, walk away and zone back until the cleric NPC is back.
Talk to him, then go down the stairs by the bonfire and talk to the guy you freed. Keep talking to them until you pay for information (the prisoner will ask for a fee). Then talk to the cleric again til he has nothing new to say.
It's a very interesting part of the story not many people have the patience or idea to find out about.

For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
