Anyone here into cars? I've been faced with a dilemma and looking for opinions.
I am kinda.. I taught myself to work on them with nothing but tools and the Haynes manual. I don't know much when it comes down to the technical specs though.
It may take hours, but that wouldn't seem like a long time if booze were involved!
Okay, beer and chess still sounds meh. Download LoL, beer and LoL is amazing!
<_< I don't for a second believe it was an accident (an accident happens once, maybe twice, beyond that it's a habit). So that said, why the hell would he give away cocaine? That stuff is expensive as hell.. To top it off it's to kids, who I really doubt have the supply of money to be a repeat customer, so 'to get them hooked' doesn't really fit, either.

I'm looking for a 88-92 Camaro Z28 or an 86-90 Camaro Iroc-Z.
I'm torn between the 2. The Iroc was the performance package of the Z28 with stiffer suspension, wonderbar, and some misc. odds and ends, but it holds the prestige of being an Iroc. (Arguably the best camaro of its time).
That said, everything on an Iroc you can put on a Z28 to make the Z28 perform the same as an Iroc, you just can't call it an Iroc. But adding in after market parts to an Iroc to me seems like you're stripping its identity of it.

Edit: Just don't expect to win >_>
Chess is meh?! You're meh! Chess is awesome!
Chess is awesome, but only in a limited amount of situations.
Very rainy day trapped inside. Or on a very sunny day in the park against some man who looks to be 287 years old.
Just wouldn't pair it with booze...I mean, it's a different thing!
That would sound fun to me.
"Ha ha, my Bish... Bis... That piece that looks like a penis took your queen!"
"Oh yeah?! Well my horsey just took out your tower thingy!"
"Really? Because my King just wiped out your pawns!"
/tableflip "Who's in checkmate now, ***?!?!"

Well seems to me the answer is in your question. Do you want a restoration project or do you want a customization project? If that doesn't answer it, then maybe money can. It would be more expensive (and probably time consuming to hunt down all the parts) to restore with original parts than to just update with aftermarket.
This is of course assuming we're talking about buying an imperfect car that you plan to fix up. I'm assuming this is the case because of the stripping it's identity remark.
I personally love classic muscle (although I prefer quite a bit older, my dream car is a 68 Camaro SS) and if I had the money, I'd definitely go with a restoration project over a customization.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
