I would suggest you take it into the dealer where you got it, if possible, asap. They should also fix the wiper motor seal without you having to wait on that piece of mail. Drive right up to the service bay and tell them what happened.
I was gonna call them in the morning. Would have been nice if it had waited til I had a day off though..cause I dunno when I can bring it in D:

I'm just wondering if somehow that missing seal could have led to water running down the wires and into the cpu or something... i'm not very familiar with the focus design but it could be possible, I guess. It all depends on the location of the cpu and the way it is wired. Also, water can be drawn uphill, look at how the horny toad hydrates itself. I'm pretty worried about my ears..they feel like they're draining and they're still ringing and its been 2 hours...lolohgawd
