Well now I know the smoke detector in my house works.. doing a bonfire to burn all the brush I've cleared in the yard. wind changed direction and blew the smoke into the house. instant ear piercing beeps.

Other than vacation time and regular days off, I only get two holidays off per year (Thanksgiving and Christmas). Holidays? What is this foreign concept you speak of... I pritty much only get christmas if it falls on a day other then tuesday or wendsday. Damn humans and wanting to go out to eat rather then spend holidays with their familys D:
I'd say, "Yeah, but at least you get..." but, there's really not much to say to put a good spin on it, huh?
The plus side to it is that I hit all the days were I can make time and a half :P It adds up nice at the end of the year, though would be nice to have them off sometimes.

Here everyone has a right to 4 weeks vacation (in a row lol) during June-August and you can also save 5 days per year for 5 years and you can then use those 25 days whenever (and at once if you want). Some get more than 4 weeks but you can't use it all at once.
