Watching Assassins creed 2 on youtube...and except for the creepy faces T_T its so lovely and fun to watch. Except a part full of spoilers I guess...is not allowed on youtube and a bunch of videos were removed.....WTF /dies

My husband vetoed all my names! Not all of them, really. I have this problem with picking out baby names for imaginary babies that we might have in five years, maybe. So I had these names picked out (first, middle, and Drown is close to my last name so you can see how it would all sound together):

Girls:

Anya Lothlorien Drown
Fiona Jessimae Drown
Tara Elsabeth Drown
Leilana Brooklyn Drown

And boys:

Rohan Gabriel Drown
Lochlan Talon Drown


So, I gave him the list and made him decide which ones he didn't like for theoretical imaginary possible future ankle-biting curtain climbers. Of all names, first and middle, I'm left with Anya, Fiona, and Tara. xD I need better name-picking skills. But I really, really like Anya and Fiona, so those two were the main two I was hoping wouldn't get the veto. ^^

I don't see Magnus on any of those lists...

I've always been fond of the name Lydia for a girls name.

Lydia Brooklyn Drown. flows nicely.

We only want two kids, so I need two girl names and two boy names, tops. I'm thinking that Tara is going to get the ax because I like the other two girl names better. But boy names are so hard! D:

Yah Lochlan is a nice name :) but Lochlan Talon sounds like an extra from Harry Potter xD

Well for school they'd likely go by Loch/Lock and Ro (which isn't too far off from Beau, which was a popular boy's name where I went to school.)

As far as teasing though, every name gets teased. It doesn't even matter how 'normal' it is. My name is Stephanie (most common stinkin' name ever) and when I was in school this one guy would run up and down the halls bellowing "Stephaweenie has a weenie!"

It is actually from a show. Lochlan is an Irish name (my family is Irish) so I wanted that one for heritage reasons. Talon is the name of a ship and Aeryn Sun's father on the show Farscape.

I'm considering home-schooling, too. Just a thought at this point, (well obviously, we aren't even having kids for at least a few years still) but right now I'm not altogether thrilled with public schooling. So anyhow, if I do home school I still don't want to give them outrageously stupid names, but teasing will be even less of a concern than it already is.
