Trigun logic, go! The Gung Ho Guns appear to all know each other in some form or another. Also, Wolfwood is a Gung Ho Gun. So I'm curious. Wouldn't Wolfwood know that one kid with the whistles in his hair (the Demon or whatever) was a member and have smote him beforehand? No because he was taking over his master's title as Chapel or w/e, so he wasn't like a full-fledged(or maybe he was full-fledged but totally new) Gung Ho Gun, so it's likely that he's never met the whistle kid. Ah, yeah. Okay, that makes a lot more sense. But, while we're on the subject, there's one other hole I've found. Vash hates what his gun does to him, so why does he keep it? I mean, he hates killing anything, so why hold onto something that causes untold chaos? I thought about the aspect of him destined to kill Knives, but I just have a hard time believing that he feels he needs to kill the guy. Plus, he's got the gunarm thing.

I want to say it's because he loves his brother and it reminds him of him. Not to mention if people saw his gunarm being used on a daily basis they'd freak out since that technology is far superior to the planet's current technology (sans the plants). Plus the gun Knives gave him is a pretty boss gun, I think the old drunk gunsmith guy said so.
And he doesn't want to kill Knives, Rem specifically told him, "Vash, take care of Knives" coupled with the whole not taking a life thing/it's his brother. Also his brother has an angelarm gun, so if Vash didn't have one, he'd be screwed in the final battle, especially considering his brother is physically superior to him since he chills in a plant all day instead of saving humans.
